Hey, you had made the redirect for it; I just moved an AfC submission to that space. Can you have a look and see how much of it is legit, and what you can do to help it along? I mean with links, categories, and all that--you probably know that better than me, and I'm dealing with the possibly dozens of hoax articles created by the person who wrote up that draft. Thanks, Drmies (talk) 21:42, 4 January 2020 (UTC)

Can you please build a "Still Flexin, Still Steppin" article?

After having charted 8 songs on the Hot 100, Wikipedia is overdue on the new NBA Youngboy album. I saw that you built the article for the previous Youngboy album, "AI Youngboy 2". So I thought maybe you would be the right person to talk to about the new one. Nikki Lee 1999 (talk) 02:07, 4 March 2020 (UTC)

Hi. I just came across D A YYY T O N A - it seems like a pretty unlikely search term to me. Can I ask why you created it? Thanks, --DannyS712 (talk) 21:12, 10 March 2020 (UTC)

Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Draft:Sonic Citadel, a page you created, has not been edited in 5 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

Why would you remove table captions and take some references and change them from being list-defined? ―Justin (koavf)TCM 21:59, 22 March 2020 (UTC)

Because that's how chart sources are displayed literally everywhere on Wikipedia. However, I've seen you already changed it back. Not sure why this article would be exempt but okay. -- Lk95 15:28, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
Lk95, it is not literally everywhere, as that's not how they are written on any article that I work on. e.g. Kamikaze (Eminem album). Please do not remove table captions. ―Justin (koavf)TCM 20:41, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
@Koavf: Table captions are not required by policy, Koavf. Stop acting like users removing them, whether intentionally or not, are intentionally discriminating against visually impaired readers. You're not going to change anyone's mind by going on some crusade for visually impaired readers. The article you linked says it's recommended and best practice that we use them. It's not a policy, and captions are not a requirement. Stop being so dramatic and reverting me (like you just did around the time you left this message) and other users over it. You're the one adding completely redundant captions like "Release history of [song]" when captions like this add absolutely nothing new that screen readers don't already know from the heading "Release history" being read out to them. I think I can safely say I speak for Lk95 and many other users when I say complaining at them isn't going to change their minds. Do you feel the need to leave everybody who doesn't make an edit to your standard a talk page message? Hysterical. Ss112 21:08, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
Ss112, I never said they were required by policy and I didn't write anything here that says or implies anything about Lk95 discriminating: I just asked him to not remove them and linked to a reason why. Why did you post this message here? ―Justin (koavf)TCM 21:23, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
@Koavf: Why did I post this message here? Er, because I can, because I noticed this, and because you reverted me over it and are trying to tell Lk95 the same thing. If you acknowledge that table captions are not required by policy, then don't act like they are by reverting users over it when you added it in the first place and other users are well within their rights to remove them for thinking they're redundant, and you should not be reverting them per WP:BRD. Don't think you can edit war over damn table captions or disregard BRD over this crusade or I'll take it up with an administrator. This guideline has been around for 10 years but only now you're concerned with apparent discrimination against visually impaired readers? Obviously it's your new way of racking up your edit count because you can't make a tonne of useless AWB edits like you used to do. Sad! Ss112 21:50, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
Ss112, Well, er, um, I mean, uh, um, er... Another option would be to discuss my actions on my talk page or reverts to your edits on your talk page. You also can do that but chose to air your grievances with me on a third party's talk page. When you removed table captions, I mentioned in the edit summary that you know better because you do. I don't know what Lk95 does or does not know about accessibility, hence I didn't make any allegations about him being discriminatory, etc. like you mentioned above. I thought that was just informative. You are a rude person who does not know what propriety is and I would love to see more admins have oversight of your actions, so please do inform them of this conversation. There is nothing "bold" about including a table caption, which as you point out, is a very old recommendation. ―Justin (koavf)TCM 21:54, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
Oh cool: you do that thing you do where you write something in an apoplectic rage and then go back and revise it several times while I'm responding without making it clear that you've edited your comments. Your bad faith is particularly egregious as I've been adding alt text, removing red-on-green contrast, etc. for well over a decade. Maybe all these revisions to your own comments just to include more invectives, lies, and irrelevant asides on someone's talk page are an attempt to make a ton(ne) of useless edits. Sad! ―Justin (koavf)TCM 21:59, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
@Koavf: And you're the village idiot of Wikipedia with no friends or allies here, as demonstrated by the ANI thread where basically everyone who frequents the board and a bunch of admins left comments saying they didn't like you, or that you should be outright blocked, but ultimately you were just disallowed from using AWB under threat of block. You're an unlikeable hypocrite who tries to say I'm rude but yet starts their pathetic reply off by trying to make fun of me saying "er". I didn't say I'd inform admins of this conversation, I said I would inform them if you edit war over table captions, genius. Also, "know better"? You wrote "Why would you make this article less accessible? Please do not make it harder for persons with disabilities to use this reference work." There's nothing about "knowing better" in that edit summary, but you probably already forgot what you wrote. Now you leave a subsequent reply where you expose what a bitter troll you really are by again trying to ape what I wrote in some desperate attempt at insulting me, but you lack originality or wit, so you have to copy me and try to use what I said back at me. Run along now, go do another interview about getting over 2 million edits on Wikipedia since that's your only achievement. Ss112 22:03, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
Thanks Ss112. I didn't mean to diminish efforts for visual improvements at all which I honestly wasn't even aware of. Absolutely no discriminatory intent from my side. Since this is getting increasingly personal, I think it's best to close the discussion on this talk page. -- Lk95 22:13, 23 March 2020 (UTC)

The New Abnormal Charts

Hi, I created the charts page. It's hidden for now. I copied it from the Comedown Machine page, which I also created. Deleting all the information I added was not constructive. Comedown Machine charted with no press. If you think The New Abnormal isn't going to chart, despite being #1 on iTunes, you're insane. Please refrain from making huge deletions without talking about it in the discussion section first. All the reference links are correct and will be correct, just like they are on my Comedown Machine section. Thanks.EGorodetsky (talk) 04:27, 14 April 2020 (UTC)

Regarding Swedish charts

Hello! I noticed today that you are doing some great work with updating chart peaks. I myself find it pretty fun but stopped when I was disrupting another editor doing the same. I usually only update Swedish peaks since it is the country I live in, but I just wanted to write here and ask if it is okay if I update some of the Swedish peaks. The last thing I want is to disrupt another editor, but as I find it pretty enjoyable to update peaks and stick only to Swedish ones, I just wanted to ask here if it is okay that I update them at times. Of course I do not forbid you to do the same, but I'm writing this here so I don't disrupt your editing, since I don't have any bad intentions regarding this. Have a nice weekend! DariuZzandor 13:36, 8 May 2020 (UTC)

Hey there, then I myself am sorry for interrupting you because I didn't notice you had already started. I just saw that some of the peaks on here hadn't been updated yet so I just went ahead and did it. I'm usually not updating the Swedish charts on here, another editor who recently became less active and updated them weekly told me at what time they'd be published so I was on the look-out in case no one would take care of them. If you want to update them weekly, go right ahead, that's no problem. Thanks a lot for your message so I get to take note of it. Have a nice weekend yourself! -- Lk95 13:50, 8 May 2020 (UTC)
Thank you for your quick response and politeness. You didn't interrupt me at all, I really appreciate all your hard work with updating the peaks and you are probably doing it better and more efficient than me. Thank you also for letting me help adding them, will do my best to not make any errors. Would of course appreciate if you still check on them at times also to see that everything looks fine. I might miss some and, if that's the case, please don't feel that you are interrupting me while updating the peaks, that is not the case :) Again, thank you! DariuZzandor 14:00, 8 May 2020 (UTC)
No problem, thanks for all your contributions as well. I will try to take a quick glance at them coming forward but you appear to add them all correctly so far so good job! -- Lk95 14:51, 8 May 2020 (UTC)

Script Edits

Just wanted to confirm that with "I Love Me" I accidentally clicked DD-MM-YY instead of MM-DD-YY. As for spacing, the white spaces make it easier to edit references and distinguish one section of the template from another. There is no ruling either way as to whether they can or cannot be used and its more common than not to use them. If it bothered you so much on the ILM article fine to revert, but I tend to generally used them in articles where I edit and the purpose of the script is to unify spacings - either include them or take them out. But yeah, sorry if you felt it messed the article up. I just wanted to leave the note in case you decide to revert other instances where you come across them - I know myself and others find them useful when editing but it is ultimately preference. Lil-℧niquԐ1 - (Talk) - 23:43, 21 May 2020 (UTC)

No problem, I generally never use whitespaces in articles I edit or started, to each their own I guess. I just don't think they're ever helpful or necessary but I can see your reasoning behind it. If they're already fully implemented in an article I usually don't bother removing them but I'm not really here for introducing them to articles that existed just fine without them. Thanks for your clarification though! -- Lk95 08:23, 22 May 2020 (UTC)
Fair, apologies for interrupting your flow on ILM! Lil-℧niquԐ1 - (Talk) - 14:03, 22 May 2020 (UTC)
FYI, I accidentally re-inserted spaces when running the date script on ILM again earlier today. DW someone else picked up on it and reverted it. Just didn't want you to think I was being ignorant/ignoring the convo we had about it! ≫ Lil-Unique1 -{ Talk }- 23:29, 5 June 2020 (UTC)

DYK for Gooba

On 6 June 2020, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Gooba, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that American rapper 6ix9ine requested permission from a judge to record the music video for "Gooba" while under house arrest? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Gooba. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Gooba), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Cwmhiraeth (talk) 12:02, 6 June 2020 (UTC)

I have issues with how you create the article like here. In the background section, the content you added does not support what the sources says and one of them are only about Lil Baby. It's very misleading to the readers. Did you even read these sources? TheAmazingPeanuts (talk) 04:48, 13 June 2020 (UTC)

Indeed, the source in the beginning is about Lil Baby. I was googling information about the Gunna album and for some reason this popped up too and I read over it too quick, assuming it was about Gunna's album. I pretty much created this article in a hurry so this one slipped by, I removed it. Anything else seems to be correct though. -- Lk95 06:40, 13 June 2020 (UTC)
That's good but there are some other issues as well. The sentence after that says: On January 29, 2020, the rapper hinted at the release of new music which was followed up by the single release "Skybox" on March 6. This source doesn't support the fact Gunna hinted unreleased songs on January 29, 2020. There's also another sentence says: On March 17, 2020, he explained that the album title is not only a play on words of his stage name but, according to him, stands for "Wealthy Unapologetic Nigga Naturally Authentic". This source didn't reveal anything other then four words. I sure there are other sources support these facts explicitly, for now it's just poorly sourced content. TheAmazingPeanuts (talk) 09:35, 13 June 2020 (UTC)
Thanks for actually dissecting this a bit, I added a few sources to the paragraph to support the statements. I also removed the first part of the second sentence since I found no source to support that claim, I just thought it was self-explanatory that "Wunna" was alluding to his stage name as well. -- Lk95 08:08, 14 June 2020 (UTC)
Good, it's look well sourced now. TheAmazingPeanuts (talk) 10:02, 14 June 2020 (UTC)

I request your help

Hey Lk95,

I don't think we've ever interacted directly on Wikipedia, but I admire your work in regards to upkeep of musician's discography pages. Your name often comes up when I'm browsing edit histories of said articles, so I figured I'd ask for your assistance. I was just wondering if you'd be able to able to help me fix a minor error on Troye Sivan's discography page. As can be seen with this edit and this edit, I've been trying to add an NZ supplementary chart peak, but every time I try to add it, it completely messes up the text immediately following it. Any guidance/help would be much appreciated. Thank you – Sean Stephens (talk) 02:01, 15 June 2020 (UTC)

Hey, nice to meet you. Thanks, I've seen your name pop up on some of the articles I edit on here too, you seem to be doing a good job as well. The problem with your edit was that you didn't invoke the reference from the September 2018 chart properly. The reference was missing a closing slash after the ref-name: "<ref name="Sep2018">" -> "<ref name="Sep2018"/>". -- Lk95 13:46, 14 June 2020 (UTC)
Ah, thank you! I don't know how I missed that multiple times. Thanks both for fixing it and telling me what I'd done wrong. Have a great day! Sean Stephens (talk) 00:30, 16 June 2020 (UTC)

Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Who's Laughing Now (Ava Max song) a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Who's Laughing Now?. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. — Status (talk · contribs) 17:36, 30 July 2020 (UTC)

Hi! Because I just a student, and I will start of school 2 weeks later, I get too busy to update then. So I hope you can update all Billboard charts, or looking for other users to help me. --Tim96144 (talk) 10:23, 1 September 2020 (UTC)

DYK for WAP (song)

On 3 September 2020, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article WAP (song), which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that a U.S. Republican candidate criticized rappers Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion's song "WAP", stating that it made him want to "pour holy water" in his ears? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/WAP (song). You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, WAP (song)), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Your draft article, Draft:Gringo (rapper)

Aaliyah cover

I see nothing at WP:IMAGE or MOS:IMAGE indicating a preference for PNG over JPG. In fact, MOS:IMAGE#Consideration of image download size says, "Wikipedia is often able to achieve much better compression of JPEG photograph thumbnails than comparable PNG images, and with little perceptible loss of quality." With regards to the Aaliyah cover specifically, your image is not as accurate to the actual CD release cover than my upload. So stop reverting to your preferred revision. Follow WP:BRD and discuss this further if my explanation still doesn't satisfy your issue. isento (talk) 18:23, 19 October 2020 (UTC)

Adding ARIA certifications

Hello,
please, when adding ARIA certifications via website cite (http://www.ariacharts.com.au/charts/singles-chart) add archive link and set link status as dead, as upon next week update the song/album (any, not any specific) might not be in chart anymore, as each week listing changes. You don't need to teach me about sourcing chart content, I've been continuously editing chart related stuff on here for over 5 years. Normally, the correct link to an artist's Billboard chart history is already embedded into an artist's discography, which I was under the impression would be the case for TXT's elaborate discography as well, but it seems like nobody figured that out yet.
