I moved it to mainspace. It clearly meets the GNG and apart from the name-dropping, which I removed, the tone is fine. It has a long list of third party reliable sources and doesn't read at all promotional to me. I don't believe that DGG should have reviewed the draft as they were the user that previously nominated it for deletion. A fresh pair of eyes would have been better. Whispyhistory and Philafrenzy, I objected to the hook that was edited in prep because (1) it is 196 characters long and (2) the part that seemed hooky, about the air raids, was moved to the very end. I wonder if we could work out a new hook and I'll substitute it in Prep 2.

Here is the original promotion:

  • ... that Canadian nurse Edith Campbell (pictured) received the Military Medal for her bravery during enemy air raids on her hospital in Étaples, France, during the First World War?

Here is the revised hook:

  • ... that Edith Campbell (pictured) served as a nurse at the No. 1 Canadian General Hospital in Étaples, France during the First World War, receiving the British Military Medal for bravery during German air raids?

I could understand how someone might get confused about the "her hospital" wording–i.e. that she was the owner. One idea is to change "on her hospital" to "at a hospital" in the first hook. I added some details from the source to the article, and would like to suggest this alt:

The additional word seems to have an impact on the whole sentence making the focus the three countries rather than the award. British isn't needed as countries often give medals to foreign nationals. @Philafrenzy: A Watson moment...Interesting. You are right...Bruce discovered Trypanosoma brucei in cattle[5], but Forde discovered it in humans. In 1895, the Scottish pathologist and microbiologist David Bruce (1855–1931) discovered T. brucei as the cause of cattle trypanosomiasis (cattle nagana). The first unequivocal observation of trypanosomes in human blood was made by the British Colonial surgeon Robert Michael Forde (1861–1948) in 1901 when he examined a steamboat captain in The Gambia[6]. Thank you for your updates to article "The Unsafe Asylum". You picked up on a number of things that needed work and you improved on the spelling, the style and the flow. So thank you for your additions.

This "thank you" is really my main message. However, I will add that I disagree with your additions of hyperlinks, with one exception. I think that linking to "Folie a Deux" is helpful, but not the others. For example, I don't see what benefit there is in linking to "navel". I assume that readers will know what a navel is, and I don't think this adds anything to the article, rather it introduces a (granted, very minor) kind of hiccup to the text. Similarly, I don't see the improvement in linking to "mental health" or "communal riots/religious violence". I'm not going to make any changes, but I wanted to at least state my opinion. Bibliography of tuberculosis

This can be expanded gradually as you have time. There is a Helen Bynum book as I am sure you know. All the entries need to have already been identified as further reading in a RS about TB to avoid accusations of original research. These were from JISC. Feel free to add or rename sections. My first DYK review

Hi - I was looking for an easy DYK now to do a review for the first time, and chose Template:Did you know nominations/J. R. L. Anderson because I was pretty sure you and Philafrenzy would know what you were doing! (Interesting article by the way.) I think I followed the instructions correctly, but the template doesn't seem to have moved into the 'Noms (approved)' section - have I goofed up, or is it just a case of waiting a bit for a bot to move it over?
