February 9[edit]

Protect my article and remove the link specially after you submitted Sheikha — Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.255.233.154 (talk) 00:15, 9 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

My article has been declined, and suggestions were made, including a link to JSTOR. I don't know how to include these references in the article. The link to JSTOR brings up over 20 book reviews and translations which this person (Constance Wagner) did for the scholarly journal Books Abroad (now World Literature Today). Should each title and translation be included in the list of her work even though these are not the materials she is known for, and other writers would probably not include their book reviews or translated articles unless they were particularly notable in some way? Is there a way that I can link to the JSTOR reference instead of listing each one on a Wikipedia page?Morgan Le Fay (talk) 03:12, 9 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

In re: Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/The Steppes (band)

The sources are all independent and notable, magazines, newspapers.

The band released all of their albums(more than two) on an "important indie label"(Voxx/Bomp). One person said it would be ok if I added another source and fixed the discography, which I did. What gives?

I have edited as requested and am resubmitting this for review and publishing.

Please do not remove the {{AFC submission|...}} and {{AFC comment|...}} code. (I have restored it.) These provide information about the progress of the article and allow you to resubmit the article for review. Currently, it is not submitted, but you may click the "Resubmit" button to do so. --Anon126 (talk - contribs) 23:18, 9 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,

I had added content to this article and saved. Then went to preview and click on the submit for review button. Now I can't see content I have added to this page. What went wrong? Is the content I typed safe? Should I retype it again. or would it be available once review is over?

Hello,

I have read the TOC of how to crate articles, and i have created this page.

Could you please review it ?

Best Regards, Amir Amin

I have reviewed the article and declined it. The article does not cite any independent, reliable sources of information. This helps to demonstrate notability, which is required for being included on Wikipedia. You can see the introduction to referencing or referencing for beginners for information on how to cite these sources. --Anon126 (talk - contribs) 23:23, 9 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
