Deletions[edit]

Wikipedia policy is to not name children unless they are adults who are the subjects of other Wikipedia articles. And you are correct in that self websites such as LinkedIn, Instagram and other social media are not valid refs. Same for published interviews of a person - the part the interviewer wrote is OK but what a person says about themselves (or their company) is not. Also blogs, IMDb for actors... Your username[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "YouThinkDotCom", may not comply with our username policy. Please note that you may not use a username that represents the name of a company, group, organization, product, service, or website. Examples of usernames that are not allowed include "XYZ Company", "MyWidgetsUSA.com", and "Foobar Museum of Art". However, you are permitted to use a username that contains such a name if it identifies you individually (not your role), such as "Sara Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87", but not "SEO Manager at XYZ Company".

Please also note that Wikipedia does not allow accounts to be shared by multiple people and that you may not advocate for or promote any company, group, organization, product, service, or website, regardless of your username. Please also read our paid editing policy and our conflict of interest guideline. If you are a single individual and are willing to contribute to Wikipedia in an unbiased manner, please request a change of username by completing the form at Special:GlobalRenameRequest, choosing a username that complies with our username policy. Alternatively, you can just create a new account and use that for editing. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. Thank you. 331dot (talk) 11:38, 8 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

this is a dead (404) website that no one cares about, and I'm not even in ownership/moderation of it YouThinkDotCom (talk) 00:24, 9 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You wrote "YouThink.com was a polling site that attempted to become a social networking site"- so it doesn't exist anymore? 331dot (talk) 00:56, 9 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It hasn't since Fall 2022, but if it's a concern, I can request a name change. I was never in ownership of the site, just a member. YouThinkDotCom (talk) 05:06, 9 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
If you intend to write about it, I would consider changing it. If not, it's less of a concern. 331dot (talk) 08:12, 9 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
No intention of that, it's not relevant enough for an article. YouThinkDotCom (talk) 11:05, 9 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Why?[edit]

Hello @YouThinkDotCom,

I just want to ask why you are adding user warnings to your own talk page. Are you testing how to use user warnings?

Thanks, Myrealnamm (💬talk · ✏️contribs) at 21:50, 15 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Why[edit]

I like to edit the color and make them bigger... yeah. YouThinkDotCom (talk) 21:51, 15 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, I was just curious. It was making the talk page a little confusing. Myrealnamm (💬talk · ✏️contribs) at 21:52, 15 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
