Project Tiger Writing Contest

In 2017 – 2018, the Wikimedia Foundation and Google working in close coordination with the Centre for Internet and Society (CIS), Wikimedia India Chapter (WMIN) and user groups from India, are piloting a program encouraging Wikipedia communities to create locally relevant and high-quality content in Indian languages. This program will (a) support active and experienced Wikipedia editors through the donation of laptops and stipends for internet access and (b) sponsor a language-based contest that aims to address existing Wikipedia content gaps.

Phase (a) has been completed, during which active contributors were awarded laptops and internet stipends. Phase (b) will be a contest in which editors will come together and develop a writing contest focused on content gaps. Each month three individual prizes will be awarded to each community based on their contribution for the month. The prizes worth 3,000 INR, 2000 INR, and 1,000 INR, will be awarded to the top contributors for each month. The contest started at March 1, 2018, 0:00, and will end at May 31, 2018, 23:59 (IST). AfC Submission, Draft:Grami's Circus Show

Greetings, TryKid. I would want to clear something up about notability. Notability is something to be seen and addressed in your writing and in your sources. Although a person/show is famous and gained much achievement, it doesn't guarantee notability if it is written shallowly. This applies for your submission unfortunately. How to improve your article: you can add in much more content. You can refer to other famous Netflix shows or K-Drama articles as a rough guide. You can add in synopsis, production, casting and etc. Your article at present is simply too shallow in context. There isn't much information to tell the audience; which is also another reason why notability isn't fulfilled. Another issue would be your sources. Cite third party sources: mainstream publication, magazines, newspapers. Your sources should be independent and third party sources(not affiliated with the subject). I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Thankyou for accepting my request, It's a live-action show with some animated characters. I checked the link some links are of episodes combined as film, others are of some another show/film title as J bole... and few are of Kid Krish Movies.

Carmen Selves

It would be my first article on wikipedia and was not accepted. Why? I did it too short?

I can do an entire translation of the spanish article Carmen Selves and my be then it will be acceptable? What do you think? In Spanish article there are independent fonts. I didn't add because catalan is having a trouble with this article (may be political reasons).

when I included that independent fonts, catalan people erased them. They are really independent fonts but this people think they are not? Why?

English wikipedia has a BIG LACK of information of good spanish painters. You can see that even spanish wikipedia is deficient regarding spanish painters.

Painting is having a lack of representation. Would you please take a look to the spanish article of Carmen Selves? It could be entirely translated amb then may be can be accepted as it was accepted by spanish wikipedia. Why english do not accept a mini version of the same article? Is for being a mini version only?

@Aggarwala2727: AfD is short for "articles for deletion". I basically tried to get chacha bhatija article deleted as it cited no sources and was very short. The show has no coverage in media.
