In response to you, I recommend that you read Census-designated place regarding this term. It is my understanding that Oro Valley isn't a CDP as it is incorporated. Hi there. I'd be happy to collaborate with you on Arizona related articles. You should join the project! Oracle State Park was listed as needing additions, so I went down to the library and picked up some material on it, but there wasn't a whole lot. One thing you should keep in mind is Wikipedia's policy of no original research, which means you can't just add stuff you know or what seems obvious - even if you are observing it firsthand as you edit. All additions need to be verifiable and be properly cited. This tends to throw off some potential new users, as a lot of people want to just start adding things they know. For example, to add a map of the park, you would need to find a map that was drawn and published by a reliable source - and THEN get the permission to use it. I know, a lot of policies, and the list certainly doesn't stop there. But, they're all in place for a reason, and I can help you get through the maze quicker than you would alone, and save you a ton of frustration in the process. Regarding your concern for Catalina State Park - I found it listed at List of Arizona state parks and at the Arizona State Park category, and at the bottom of the first page it is listed in the southern region of Arizona's protected areas. If you see it missing somewhere else that you think it should be included with, let me know the specific page and I can help you get it properly listed.
