Redlinks

Please do not link actors' names in List of Star Wars characters unless there is an article for these actors. Most of these folks are non-notable bit players not likely ever to garner coverage. Would appreciate you undoing the redlinks you've already created. --EEMIV (talk) 23:40, 2 January 2010 (UTC)

I have reverted your recent wash of redlink-creating edits. Please look to see whether articles actually exist for these actors before linking them. Most if not all of these redlinks will never yield articles. --EEMIV (talk) 01:11, 3 January 2010 (UTC)

Images in bio articles

Please stop adding fair use (non-free) images to biographical articles immediately. Fair use images are considered replaceable for identifying living people, per Wikipedia:Non-free content#Unacceptable use, Images - Item 12. I understand that you were probably unaware of these guidelines, but continuing this practice will result in a block of your editing privileges. Thanks.— TAnthonyTalk 15:11, 4 January 2010 (UTC)

Seriously, stop IMMEDIATELY. You have added about three more images since my warning above.— TAnthonyTalk 15:21, 4 January 2010 (UTC)
Using character photos to represent actors is not allowed here. Please stop. Thanks. --SarekOfVulcan (talk) 15:46, 4 January 2010 (UTC)

Blocked

You have been temporarily blocked from editing for repeated violation of our policy on non-free content. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make constructive contributions. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first.

Please familiarize yourself with the cited policy before requesting unblocking. Our policies on proper use of contents not available freely is not negotiable, and you've repeatedly reinserted inappropriate images despite repeated warnings above. Contributors are expected to follow our content policies, especially when they concern copyrights. — Coren (talk) 17:46, 4 January 2010 (UTC)

Project Logo Hello, Tamariki/Archive 1 and thank you for your contributions on articles related to the Saw film series. I'd like to invite you to become a part of Wikipedia: WikiProject Saw, a WikiProject aiming to improve coverage of Saw and related articles on Wikipedia.

Warning

Please do not remove Persondata info from articles, as you did with Mike Starr (actor)! As a matter of fact, many of your edits suggest that you are somewhat unfamiliar with WP policy and the Manual of Style. You may want to read up a little if you're going to continue being such an active editor. Thanks.— TAnthonyTalk 07:37, 12 January 2010 (UTC)

AfD nomination of Julia DeMato

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Julia DeMato. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Julia DeMato (3rd nomination). Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:03, 4 March 2010 (UTC)

The article Little Red Riding Hood (Disney) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unremarkable movie with no references.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. mono 05:50, 4 April 2010 (UTC)

I have nominated Little Red Riding Hood (Disney), an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Little Red Riding Hood (Disney). Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. mono 03:28, 5 April 2010 (UTC)

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of O-shen, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.melanesianmusic.org/?q=node/30. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.)

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 20:42, 21 April 2010 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of O-shen

A tag has been placed on O-shen requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. You are now a Reviewer

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing a two-month trial scheduled to end 15 August 2010.

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages.

When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.

If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Courcelles (talk) 18:14, 18 June 2010 (UTC)

Please do not create new articles without any references

I see you have created several articles to do with national womens 7's rugby teams today. They appear to be substantially identical with only the team name and player list varying and no references supplied. Please do not create unsourced articles and do not pad out articles with content that is only tangentially connected with the subject - making the majority of a page about a single competition that they happened to compete in does not help the article. noq (talk) 16:34, 1 April 2012 (UTC)

The article Linda Itunu has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Pat Johnson (rugby union) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content or organised event, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Fan note

Congrats on Reviewer promotion. Happened back to one of the articles you started, Philip Galanes, where I'd done some work a while ago, did some update/restoration today. Glad to find you and he both still going strong. Got chuckle/reassurance that dab bot gets you too time to time. All best.

Fiji

Hi Tamariki! I see you are from Fiji. Welcome to Wikipedia, and I'm pleased to see you've made some edits to Fijian topics. Many if not most articles related to Fiji are very incomplete, so we need all hands on deck:-) You might be interested in joining Wikiproject Fiji. Hope to see you around!
