Proposed deletion of Sergey Zonenko[edit]

The article Sergey Zonenko has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be engaged in an edit war with one or more editors according to your reverts at Sergey Zonenko. Although repeatedly reverting or undoing another editor's contributions may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, and often creates animosity between editors. Instead of edit warring, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Hello. Quotation can not be proved as a fact because it is direct speech. How can I leave it in the article? In the section "Participation in protest actions and escape from the country" is used as a proof photo and a link to blog, news. Another way is impossible confirm. Hello Ogeldke. Thanks for contributing this article, on someone who appears to be quite a remarkable man. I can see that you are trying your best to reference the article correctly, and thank you also for that. Frustrating as it is, unfortunately we can't use personal experience or direct speech to reference WP:Biographies of living persons. Reference to personal experience is considered WP:Original research, as is the use of photos and similar evidence to prove that something happened. We can use a photo to illustrate something that is WP:Verifiable, but we can't use the photo itself for verification. The patent records can be used to verify that Zonenko or his father held a patent, but they don't verify the other claims made, which is why I've tagged them as failed verification. I do want to help you with this, and to make the article better by including as much verifiable information as possible about his life and career, so please do let me know if you have any questions. There's no need to remove the article, but we do need to remove unreferenced controversial claims from the article. It's probably best if we continue this discussion at Talk:Sergey Zonenko, so other editors can help us find more reliable references for what's written there. No, the deletion discussion needs to continue, usually for about seven days, until consensus is reached on whether or not to delete the article. If you don't want it to be deleted, then you need to explain why at WP:Articles for deletion/Sergey Zonenko. Possible Copyvio images[edit]

I have pinged you two previous times to ask how you are able to claim works 20 years apart that seem to be made with close access to the subject as "own work". Only the person who actually took the pictures or made the animation can claim "Own Work" in all other cases you must get a license from the photographer. If you indeed have the close access to the subject that being the photographer requires then you have a pretty strong conflict of interest with respect to the subject. We have procedures if this is the case, one of which for you to restrict your edits to the talk page of the article (see WP:COI) however continuing to remove tags from the article without discussion is completely unacceptable. Editors at Wikipedia are all willing to help improve an article and I am willing to help you here. This is a collaborative project and you must work within our rules and norms and you have been informed of this several times.
