why I removed your recent edit[edit]

The material you added was a re-statement of the same fact which was already covered in the article. I deleted it for that reason. You should be aware that wikipedia doesn't permit self-promotion so if you have awards and/or media mentions you would like included in the article, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page and I will see if the materal should be included. Also, when updating numbers and figures, you really need to cite the referecnes used for that. If you don't know how to do inline citations, again, just leave me a message on my talk page with the URL of the figures you want included and I will do my best to get them in. I saw you on Penn & teller and thought they were a little harsh with regard to your product. I had a purebred White german Shepherd aslo called a Berger Blanc Suisse and I chose to neuter him. Had he been AKF registered, I would not have been able to show him due to his alteration. I don't think they allow neuticled dogs to be shown but maybe that's a battle you can look into. If you do get involved in that area, let me know. it would be intertesting to follow.LiPollis 20:58, 29 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The IG Nobel Peace Prize for Medicine is an award and received Worldwide attention. Its a rare honor. How this can be deleted is beyond my comprehension. It is not self promotion it is fact. If that's the case- why not wipe out Penn & Teller and that idiotic article in that Arizona newspaper? Frankly Im sick of any pinhead coming along and butchering my entry on this site. Right now its a total mess and if someone copmes along and plays NY Times editor again I will simply delete this site completely. I will edit it again and hope Wikipedia can fix it where any jackell can't come along and add misinformation.

As for showing Neuticled dog in show- that has been a topic of sicussion since 1995.

Gregg, please look at the article. I did not delete the mention of the Ig Nobel prize, only the extra metentions of it. In fact, I went to a great deal of trouble to add proper references for a number of asserted facts in the article including the Ig Nobel prize. If you continue to misinterpret well-intentioned edits, you will lose the goodwill of other editors. Wikipedia does NOT permit self-promotion and tends to viuew edits by editors on topics about themselves in a negative light. I am not accusing you of self-promotion, just trying to make you aware that if you continue to be antagonistic to other editors and of wikipedia policy, you run the risk of having the article nominating for deletion as non-notable and.or as a work of self-promotion. That would be unfortunate since I feel your product has a valuable role to play in eliminating one of the most stubborn reasons that people resist neutering.
You should be aware that you do not own the article on wikipedia. Wikipedia is a public encyclopedia. it is in youer best interests not to take an antagonistic view to other editors. Please do not delete the material in the article. Blanking pages on wikipedia is viewed as vandalism and could get your ISP blocked from making any further edits to wikipedia. I feel you fundemaentally misunderstand wikipedia. It is not a message board for manufacturers to post Advertorial material. It is a public encyclopedia. When you contribute, you agree to freely license your contributions and therefore, they no longer belong to you; they now belong to wikipedia. Please don't sabatoge the article out of spite. Try and work with other editors who only want to share interesting info with others.
I added the quote from you after the mention of the Penn & Teller mention to give you the last word so to speak. Quite frankly, Penn & Teller made you out to be a wack-job and I felt that was unfortunate and mean-spirited. I belong to several groups that promote spaying and neutering and I feel that you have developed something that has been and could continue to be a valuable tool in breaking down ownber resistance to neuring. Now if you could just figure out how to get owners of female animals to get over the idea that their pet should have "just own litter" before being spayed, heck I'd nominate you for the real Nobel prize for medicine! But seriously, I would like to add a paragraph to the article that deals seriously with owner reistsance to neutering and your efforts to overcome that with neuticles. Most of the articles I could find online were very flippant on that issue. If you could direct me to some links either to your own dated press releases or to publicity about Neuticles that might have some nice quotes on the subject, I'd be grateful. I have looked over the press releases you have online and I did add the material in about people trying to sell fake neuticles and cited a press release on that. Further on that subject, I was looking for some more reference material on the surgical technique developed to implant neuticles. If you could direct me to some links that go into that in detail, again, I would be happy mto see where that might fit into the article.
Gregg, my goal is to make this article a quality addition to the vet medicine articles on Wikipedia. if you would like me to create an article on you personally so we can cover your accomplishments in more detail, I would be happy to do that. In my opinion, you are notable and deserving of such. In thata rticle, we could include more detailed mention of your winning of the Ig Nobel prize and any and all other business and personal acheivements. You are a coloful and entertaining advocate for pets and for neutering and as such, I would like to see you covered. I am a member of Wikipedia Project Dogs and I feel your bio would be of interest to members of the project. Please also remember to sign your posts on any talk pages, even your own, with four tildas (~'s) so they are time and date stamped. This helps others to follow the discussion.16:17, 1 July 2007 (UTC)

Wikipedia takes a rather dim view of paid editing since it often leads to low-quality, non-neutral content. Please do not try to solicit paid editors on Wikipedia. See also WP:PAID; anybody you hire would need to disclose that they work for you.
We already have articles on Neuticles and on you; if you think they should be changed, you are welcome to propose changes on the articles' talk pages (Talk:Neuticles and Talk:Gregg Miller, respectively). Please be specific, and please provide reliable sources that are independent of you for any proposed additions of content. You can add the code {{request edit}} (including the curly brackets) to such a talk page proposal to raise awareness; an uninvolved editor will review your proposal and implement it if it improves the article. Huon (talk) 00:16, 11 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Huon: To the lay person Wikipedia is a very complicated and difficult site to enter facts. At the heading of two pages Gregg Miller and Neuticles -there are a plethora of warnings and notices. I simply posted asking for someone to assist to make the Gregg Miller page and Neuticles page Wikipedia page compliant. I wanted to find someone that can abide by your rigid rules and process. My intention was not self promotion but only to comply with Wikippedia format- something I find impossible to do. Like any other celebrity on Wiki or business- I simply want to let people know the facts about me and my company which is now a quarter century old. Thank you for informing me and {{help me}} can be placed when citations are needed. What can be done to eliminate the warnings and notices atop each page? These warnings and notices ( not found on any other celebrity or business) degrades the image of both my status and business within the Wikipedia community. Thank you.
