Ajit Mohan

Hello, Macrobreed2! I noticed you updated the Ajit Mohan entry last month. I've submitted a couple edit requests on his behalf as part of my work at Beutler Ink, and I was curious if you might be interested in taking a look at the changes I've proposed.

Over at User:Inkian Jason/Ajit Mohan, you'll see I've added a few subsection headings for the Career section (for organizational purposes), relocated text highlighted in orange, and added text highlighted in green. I had asked User:Timtrent if they'd be willing to review the proposed changes, since they approved the draft at Article for Creation. However, they are not interested in revisiting the draft so I've broken down my request into two edit requests:

• Talk:Ajit_Mohan#Request_to_expand_on_tenure_at_Meta_India
• Talk:Ajit_Mohan#Request_to_expand_on_Hotstar

To summarize the proposed changes, I've moved some existing text from the Board service and recognition section to the Career section (to group related text) and added detail about Hotstar and Meta India, per reliable sources. This diff shows proposed changes, if that's helpful.

I'd like to think these are fairly non-controversial changes, but I welcome your feedback. If you are comfortable with these updates, you can copy over markup at User:Inkian Jason/Ajit Mohan from the "short description" to "Authority control" (you'll just want to remove the "Font color" templates). If you're not interested, that's no problem, I will continue to search for editors who might be willing to help out. I won't be editing the article myself given my conflict of interest.

I noted that you asked for this article be restored after deletion. I'd like to make clear that acceptance from a single AfC reviewer is not a binding statement of consensus from the entire aggregate of active editors. The AfD on the subject determined that. It was only because that AfD was not well-attended that you were given a second chance. Generally speaking, most people who ever live will not be notable as Wikipedia defines it. Those people who are usually are not written about until after they die, which is what I recommend you wait for. Chris Troutman (talk) 16:40, 10 December 2023 (UTC)
