Hm. This looks like someone who is very likely to pass wikipedia's inclusion guidelines in the future, but doesn't quite do so yet. Normally, authors pass wikipedia's inclusion guidelines by writing two or more books that pass WP:NBOOK's criteria. Neither of his books are particularly major books (a chapbook and a book on campus journalism reviewed by student journalists), but they have attracted some notice, so that's promising. I think you're probably stuck for now until he publishes more, unless there are news articles on him somewhere that I haven't turned up? Literary criticism about his short stories maybe, or something in Nigerian news that isn't so easy to find with google?

Advice for Draft: Chukwuebuka Ibeh[edit]

Hello Kanyeeeen, and thanks for your work on author articles! I noticed this draft article waiting for review at AfC, and I wanted to reach out with a suggestion: at this time, it doesn't look like Ibeh passes the criteria at WP:NAUTHOR to have an article, but his book Blessings definitely does meet the criteria for WP:NBOOK. A lot of the new sources that you've added are good, and it would be great if your work could be published instead of declined again. I'd like to suggest that you change this into an article about Blessings, and just have a small section in it about the author.

In general, you might find it easier to start by making book articles. Any book with at least two independent, reliable reviews passes WP:NBOOK and can have an article, and it's very useful to Wikipedia's readers to be able to look up simple information about what happens in a book. After you have articles about 2-3 books by a particular author, that's usually when making a biography for them will be totally uncontroversial.
