Sankey diagrams

Hi there. Really like the Sankey diagrams you have been producing to illustrate preference flows in some Australian electorates (e.g. Cunningham by-election). I'm just wondering what software you use to produce these diagrams? And also if you had a minute, I'd be very grateful if you could let me know if you have any tips for making Sankey diagrams. Thanks, they're pretty nifty aren't they? I use Sankeymatic to make them - there is a slight learning curve but it's excellent for free software. No tips other than to use consistent colouring and spacing. If you want to make some for articles that's great, although I would ask that you hold off on making them for the 2022 federal election as I am in the process of making one for every district, and I'd like the style of them to be consistent across all 151 districts & 8 Senate constituencies. Thanks also for the heads up - originally I was going to try and make a few Sankey diagrams for some electorates contested at the 2022 Australian Federal Election, but sounds like you've got it all covered! Arafura by-election

There are 3 candidates for the Arafura by-election.

All 3 are new candidates and Alan has be active in remote and regional NT since 1996 and further has a skin name from one of the Clans.

here is a brief overview of Alan, who is definitely a third strong candidate.

Media always plays the two major parties only in their reporting.

Alan’s background is as follows:

Alan Middleton has a long career as a practitioner in Forensic Accounting, Fraud and Corporate Governance in Police (Det Sgt Fraud Squad Vic Police), remote policing in Queensland, and RAAF Commissioned Officer in Defence Internal Investigations and Discipline.

Senior Manager since 1996 in Arnhem Land Councils and Aboriginal Corporations.

He assisted in the creation of the Katherine West Health Board in 1998.

He has worked extensively with ATSIC across Arnhem Land and the Kimberley in establishing several Economic Development programs and Aboriginal Corporations.

Formal qualifications include a Master of Laws (LLM), Fellow of Certified Practising Accountants Australia (FCPA), Batchelor of Commerce with Honours in IT (B.Com Hons), Post Graduate and further studies in Cyber Security, Association Management and a Diploma in Community Safety. ArbCom 2023 Elections voter message

Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
