Speedy deletion nomination of Woodland Fairy Acres[edit]

A tag has been placed on Woodland Fairy Acres, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Removing Speedy at Woodland Fairy Acres[edit]

Hi there Flwr petal fairy! I saw that you added a {{hangon}} tag to a page which you created, Woodland Fairy Acres. This is good, but in the process you removed the tag requesting deletion under CSD G11. Even though there is a hangon on the page, the deletion template should remain there. But don't worry, this doesn't mean that the page is going to get deleted. Make sure you edit the talk page of the page nominated for deletion, located at Talk:Woodland Fairy Acres, administrators will look at your reason why the page should remain before they decide what to do. Thanks for your polite message petal fairy, and welcome to Wikipedia :). And it's really great that you want to make sure that you stay within our guidelines.

The thing that is different about this article and the ones for other companies is (according to Hell In A Bucket, I haven't really looked into this that deeply) that this page is written in the wrong way, but he hasn't said that there is anything wrong with the actual subject. But please do not use the fact that other companies have Wikipedia articles as a reason why this company should. But it's great that you are willing to do your best to abide by our polices, we need more user with the same attitude! :)

The exact reason why Hell In A Bucket thinks the current page should be deleted is because it reads as though it is advertising. If you disagree, then the person to talk to is Hell In A Bucket, not me. Ask him what parts of the page specifically read like an advertisement, and offer to change them. Awards are good for establishing the notability of the company, but it is not required t make it sound less like advertising.

It's really great that you've included references. These are a very good thing for an article to have :). If you haven't already done so, you might be interested in reading through the article creation wizard. But I'd suggest the best thing to do at this stage is contact Hell In A Bucket. Hi there.

I noticed your question on the talkpage of Kingpin13 (talk · contribs).

To contact other users, you leave notes on their talk page, which should be linked from the right-hand part signature. In this case, for example, the above signature from "Hell in a Bucket" has a link marked "talk" which points to the page User talk:Hell in a Bucket. To leave them a note, go there and create a new section at the end of the page (with the 'New section' tab), put in a Subject/headline, and write your message. Remember to "sign" your name, by putting ~~~~ (four tilde signs) at the end, or clicking the 'sign' button (shown here).

If you want to leave me a note, the same principle applies - I have a more 'flashy' signature, but the right-hand part is a link to my talk page.

You don't need to read anything - anybody can edit; just go to an article and edit it. Be Bold, but please don't put silly stuff in - it will be removed very quickly, and will annoy people.

Ask for help. Talk to us live, or edit this page, put {{helpme}} and describe what help you need. Someone will reply very quickly - usually within a few minutes.

Play in your user area. For example, create User:Flwr petal fairy/test.

Edit existing articles, before you make your own. Look at some subjects that you know about, and see if you can make them a bit better. For example, Wikipedia:Cleanup#2009.

When you're ready, read about Your first article. It should be about something well-known, and it will need references.
