I noticed that one of the first articles you edited was Blueair, which appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. hello I am completely bemused. I was in the process of editing a draft when suddenly my account was blocked as I tried to save the copy by Orange Mike | Talk 13:30, 17 September 2016 (UTC) - which meant I lost about four hours of work editing a draft text to be reviewed by yourselves. This was quite frustrating especially as I had had a good dialog with the admin who originated the first block on Blueair. Could you kindly advise please on my next step... many thanks for your assistance, DavidBlueair Air Purifiers (talk) 14:05, 17 September 2016 (UTC)

@Orangemike: I believe the above was a failed attempt to ping you. For the record, the uw-coi-username notice I placed above was only due to the discussion at WP:HD (section link in the talkback above), where we were discussing past deletion, future editing, and WP:COI; and because of the obvious username issue to be addressed. It was not because of any article edits that I had observed. I am certainly not making any representation or appeal on behalf of this user, only ensuring that my actions in preceding part of this are completely clear and on the record. Thanks. @Seraphimblade, hello you have been incredibly helpful so far but now I seem to have been totally blocked by another admin called Orangemike, who appears to have misunderstood that I was trying to correct earlier faults implemented by a third party. I have made no secret of my role and company affiliation to Blueair so cannot understand the accusations thrown at me, especially as I was merely working as you suggested in Draft:Blueair mode. Thanks to his block I have lost the result of four hours work trying to clean up the page to adhere with your requirements at Wikipedia, which I fully respect as said earlier. @Murph9000 thank you for your message and while I know you are not representing me in anyway, I appreciate your kindness and professionalism in trying the set the record straight. 185.69.145.143 (talk) 16:21, 17 September 2016 (UTC)

@Seraphimblade: I believe the above was intended to ping you. David, the notification system requires that the name is actually a link to the user, e.g. {{ping|Seraphimblade}}. I'm...seriously confused here, at this point. The person I spoke to previously about this was using the username Noblewriter, and that account is not blocked. This account should be blocked, because we don't allow usernames that indicate the account is operated by a company or group. Whatever the case may be, it would certainly be best for each individual editing to use one single account that is theirs alone, and to not use more than one.
