Need Assistance

for creating new categories like 21st-century Filipino painters

Hi User:ArtCulture. Seems like an easy enough problem. You created a category but didn't put any articles in the category. I'm not entirely sure I understand the need for the category. I'm worried that it qualifies for Wikipedia:Overcategorization. However, I'm not an expert on Categorization so I'll let others argue for it.

In the meantime, I'll start by putting a page I made way back, Joy Mallari, in this category. You may want to do that to other pages, too. If you don't know how to do that, you can look up Wikipedia:FAQ/Categorization#How do I add an article to a category. Have fun! :D - Alternativity (talk) 04:26, 7 February 2017 (UTC)

And if you have any problems in the future, you can ask for help on the noticeboard's talk page at Wikipedia_talk:Tambayan_Philippines. Personally, I always need help watching over early Philippine history articles like Ma-i, Kingdom of Namayan and Kingdom of Tondo. As you see, the articles are in bad shape, because people keep adding things without citations as required by the Wikipedia:Verifiability policy. Scholarly eyes watching such articles are always welcome. :D Enjoy editing wikipedia! @Velella: kindly edit the articles of Samahang Makasining and help to fit in wikipedia standard instead of deletion recommendation. all articles in wikipedia are based on books, websites and other references. we are trying to re phrase all of these. please kindly help not only this but also other articles related to art and culture for the future. Nobody is advocating a block. The issue here is that all, or very nearly all, of this article appears to be copied from the organizations web-site. That is copyright violation and is totally unacceptable on Wikipedia. If all the copied text can be removed and replaced with well sourced text in your own words, that should resolve the problem. As you created this article only two days ago, I think it would be reasonable to suppose that you yourself know exactly what you copied and where you copied it from.
