Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contribution(s). However, as a general rule, while user talk pages permit a small degree of generalisation, other talk pages such as User talk:84Swagahh are strictly for discussing improvements to their associated main pages, and many of them have special instructions on the top. They are not a general discussion forum about the article's topic or any other topic. If you have questions or ideas and are not sure where to post them, consider asking at the Teahouse. Thanks. I use this account to edit. the sock link says that using multiple accounts is against the rules but I don't do that! 😂🤣84Swagahh🤣😂 18:09, 6 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
How old does an account have to be before it is no longer a new user? 😂🤣84Swagahh🤣😂 18:12, 6 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
An account is not a user. Your account gradually ceases to be new, but Doug Weller and I aren't talking about this particular account but about you the person, or user. It's quite hard to believe that you don't have at least one older account, since you seem quite proficient in wikicode. For instance, this piped link was created in your seventh edit. What's your main account? Is it blocked? Bishonen | tålk 18:27, 6 December 2023 (UTC).[reply]
Look at the top message in this talk page. I read the links that he sent me and it gives some advice for editing. Also, on my homepage it gave me some articles to edit and provided a tutorial on adding links in between articles. From there I learned how to add links ! I just selected the text with my mouse and clicked on the link symbol. Lastly, this is my main account and I use it to edit! 😂🤣84Swagahh🤣😂 18:42, 6 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Really. Where is this "homepage" you mention? I'm not sure what the word means in a Wikipedia context, and I can't find any page with articles for you to edit, and/or a tutorial on adding links between articles. Are you sure it was this account that received that? And did somebody also advise you to do stuff like the nonsense dialogue with yourself on this page that you revert here, and the further doodling that you revert here? It's not what your talkpage is for. Bishonen | tålk 22:04, 6 December 2023 (UTC).[reply]
On the homepage, it gives newcomer tasks. I chose to do the easier edits as I am new. The easy edits include copy editing and adding links in between articles. Once you click on the article of your choice, a tutorial come up! Also, I was just having some fun on my talk page, but I reverted them after so my talk page doesn’t become too dirty. 😂🤣84Swagahh🤣😂 00:01, 7 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Dear User Drmies, Hello, I have reviewed the Blocking policy and Sockpuppet Policy. I am aware that the reason I have been blocked is because I have abused multiple accounts in the recent past. I am wondering if it is possible for any of my accounts to be unblocked due to the fact that so many of them have been blocked due to disruptive editing and sock puppetry. I am willing to work with administration in order to change for the better. I hope it is possible to become unblocked soon! 😂🤣84Swagahh🤣😂 14:46, 7 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Hello, I have read through the standard offer page. I would like to pursue this option as an attempt of returning to editing. Firstly, I want to make a promise to avoid the behavior that led to the ban. This means that I will never create a sock puppet account again or purposely disrupt anything on Wikipedia. Every account on Category:Wikipedia sockpuppets of PoopMoney923 is owned by me and I wish to apologize for creating those accounts for disruptive purposes. I will not make any edit to an article to attempt to vandalize it and I will not attempt to annoy other users. However, I have a few questions. Firstly, after waiting six months, administrators are not required to unblock me; I will have to provide a clear reason on why I should be unblocked. I am just unsure of what is required until I have provided enough good reasons to return - I believe that six months is a long time to wait to still be blocked due to not providing enough reasons. Secondly, it is required to not make any edits during this six month period. I am wondering if making additions or replies to my talk page would reset the six month timer. Next, under the 'Eligibility' section of the article it states,"The standard offer applies to community-based indefinite blocks and bans in situations where things just didn't work out: normal people, short fuses, etc. It doesn't extend to extremes ..." (Wikipedia:Standard offer, Eligibility). I am worried that some administrators may have seen my actions to have been too disruptive to return. The 'Variations' sections says that I am allowed to contribute to other projects before returning to the English Wikipedia. Therefore, am I allowed to edit the Simple English Wikipedia or add pictures to Wikimedia Commons? Those two projects are something that I am able to contribute to, but only if I am allowed to during this six month period. I apologize for both my past actions and for causing the reviewing admin to read this entire paragraph of text. Lastly, was I supposed to use the unblock template for this? I am not entirely sure but I believe that it was the best option for contacting an admin. Let me know if I should use another way of communicating with administrators other than using this template if needed. Thank you, 84Swagahh

Six months with zero edits on English Wikipedia. This includes on this talk page. Good edits on other Wikimedia projects can be helpful for getting unblocked. Good luck. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆𝄐𝄇 16:55, 7 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Six-Month Absence on the English Wikipedia

Starting now, I will not be editing on this Wikipedia for Six-Months. I will be pursuing Wikipedia:Standard offer to attempt to become unblocked. I will likely remain somewhat active on other Wikimedia projects. However, I am not able to edit my talk page as well, so I will likely not respond to any comments. Happy Editing - 84Swagahh out 🫡🫡🫡 😂🤣84Swagahh🤣😂 17:02, 7 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Last Question - Which account of mine will be unblocked if this works? I have created multiple accounts for disruptive purposes. User:PoopMoney923 was the first account I created. If I have a choice, User:84Swagahh is the account I wish to have unblocked. This is because that first account violates the username policy. 😂🤣84Swagahh🤣😂 17:21, 7 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
ZERO EDITS. If you succeed at getting unblocked, you can pick your account. Now, I want to see ZERO MORE EDITS from you for six months. No responses here, no more questions. Zero. --Yamla (talk) 17:24, 7 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Hello members of the Wikipedia administration reviewing this request for unblock: Today is May 7th, 2024, marking six months since my last request for unblock and English Wikipedia activity on December 7th, 2023. I have not created any unblock requests or edits on the English Wikipedia during the last six months to pursue the standard offer for the unblocking process. During the time that I have previously vandalized Wikipedia, I have broken multiple policies on conduct such as vandalism, sockpuppetry, harassment, and username policies. This has caused me to be indefinitely blocked on my six sockpuppet accounts. This disruption caused legitimate editors and admins to have to take the time to correct and handle my bad faith actions. The bad-faith edits to articles I made could have caused issues if a reader were to have seen the disruptive material and edits that I put onto an article. For example, they could have seen a bad edit of mine and no longer trust the website because of my poor actions and vandalism. Furthermore, my past vandalism in the userspace has annoyed others, wasted their time, and caused disruption to communication between multiple editors. Before creating an account, I have not edited using an IP address. On May 3, 2023, I made User:PoopMoney923 and that account was blocked for vandalism the next day. That was my first ever account but after this block, I created the account User:PoopMoney23 to further vandalize before becoming blocked there. After this block, I became aware of the sockpuppetry policy along with other policies I have already violated at this point. However, I disregarded this and continued to vandalize on newly created sockpuppet accounts found here. I have even abused cross-wiki, which has caused global locks to some of my sock puppets. During the conversation on this account shortly before I was blocked for a final time, I remember thinking about the possibility of getting unblocked and returning as a legitimate editor. During that conversation, I knew that I would eventually be blocked for sockpuppetry, but I chose to continue lying by pretending to be new editor so that I could try to prolong the time before getting blocked. The next day, I saw that I was blocked from check user evidence for my sockpuppetry. This behavior from me will no longer happen. Whether I am successfully unblocked or remained blocked, I will not repeat this behavior and abuse. I promise to avoid my past harmful behavior because I do not want to harm Wikipedia; instead, I intend to build an encyclopedia. After seeing this block, I submitted an unblock request asking about the possibility of becoming unblocked. After reading and reviewing the response from Yamla, I began my interest in using the Standard Offer to work towards becoming unblocked. I wrote my second unblock request where I asked most of the questions I had about this offer. I reviewed the response from jpgordon, made a comment and question here, and started my six-month absence from the English Wikipedia to work towards my goal of becoming unblocked and returning as a legitimate editor. I believe this request for unblock should be successful after careful review because of my work on the Simple English Wikipedia during this absence and because of my work towards the unblocking process. I believe this request should be successful because of my work and contributions to the Simple English Wikipedia during this period of six months. Firstly, to anyone reviewing this request for unblock, please also review my account on the Simple English Wikipedia . During my six month absence, I have made over 1,000 contributions to the Simple English Wikipedia. According to this page, this means that I am in the top 0.1% of editors! I am aware that edit count is not everything, so I will briefly explain some of my contributions - I have reverted many bad faith edits using Twinkle, warned and reported those who broke rules, and nominated many articles for deletion (log found here). In addition, I have created some articles, performed copy editing on articles, welcomed new users, reverted good faith edits using detailed edit summaries, and expanded articles (example; check history to see my contributions). While editing on the Simple English Wikipedia, I have applied for and successfully earned rollbacker rights (verify). You can find my application here and an administrator accepting my request here. My application for rollbacker rights being accepted means that I have made good contributions to the project and that I am in good standing with the admins on the Simple English Wikipedia. I have used the rollbacker right to help revert vandalism and other bad-faith edits. These contributions to the Simple English Wikipedia show that I can make constructive edits to the English Wikipedia. It also shows that I am interested in editing and that I will work hard to be able to have my editing rights returned. If I were to have continued my past vandalism of Wikipedia projects, I would have likely gotten blocked and created sockpuppet accounts while waiting out the standard offer. However, I have been in good standing with the Simple English Wikipedia community during these six months - I would not want to ruin this by vandalizing and harming the project. If I had planned to continue my past vandalism, I would not have made over 1,000 edits to contribute to that project. In all, my contributions to the Simple English Wikipedia have shown that I can make constructive edits, as well as showing that I will not be planning to repeat my past vandalism. In addition, I believe that I should be unblocked because of my work towards the unblocking process. Firstly, I have gone through the standard offer for appealing a block. During the six months I was absent, I have not edited the English Wikipedia, created a sock puppet account, evaded my block, or abused any other Wikimedia project. In the first paragraph, I explained my promise to avoid the behavior that led to my block. I wish to return to editing, so I would not repeat my past behavior. Lastly, I have tried to not give people a reason to object to my return. During my six month absence where I edited the Simple English Wikipedia, I have only made good-faith edits and have not abused any permission such as editing, twinkle, or the rollback feature. I believe that this has shown my intent to return to a good standing with the English Wikipedia. In the past, I attempted to use the 2nd chance template to get unblocked on my original account (found here). However, my attempt at using the 2nd chance template failed and I continued to make sockpuppet accounts after losing my talk page access. The purpose of this template is for the blocked user to show how they can contribute to Wikipedia in a positive way before their unblock requests are further reviewed. While on the Simple English Wikipedia project, I improved this article. Before my contributions to that article, it used to be a stub article. I expanded the article, translated sections from the English Wikipedia with attribution, changed the structure of the article, added sources, links between articles, notes, and Wiktionary links. Soon, I plan on proposing this article for the good article status. I will continue to improve the article before making my proposal. You can view my contributions on the page's history. My improvements to this article show that I am able to contribute to Wikipedia, even after my past period of vandalism. Without my edits to the SCP Foundation article, it would have likely remained a stub article. My work towards the unblocking process shows that I am trying my best to have my editing permission returned. I have correctly waited out the standard offer's six months without making any edit or change to the English Wikipedia. While being absent for six months, I have still contributed to other Wikipedia projects which shows my ability to contribute towards building Wikipedia. In this unblock request, I have tried my best to explain how I have changed during these six months. Even if I had a hard finding things to edit on the Simple English Wikipedia, I would still spend time reading articles and pages on both Wikipedia projects. Some of the content I read were explanatory essays and pages on policies and guidelines. This has helped me to build my knowledge of Wikipedia while waiting out the standard offer. Lastly, my time editing the Simple English Wikipedia has also taught me more about the editing process on both projects. I have learned about expanding articles with educational content, the creation and deletion of articles, participating in civil discussion alongside other volunteer editors, giving users warnings for creating harmful edits, and how to use tools such as twinkle and content translation. In all, I have pursued the standard offer and addressed its points, shown how I have changed during the six months, and how I create positive contributions to the English Wikipedia. In conclusion, I should be eventually unblocked due to my work on the Simple English Wikipedia and because of my work towards the unblocking process. I have written this essay for the purpose of having an administrator review and eventually accepting this unblock request. It is likely that more information or responses from me will be necessary to work towards becoming unblocked; therefore, if needed please start a discussion about this situation on my user talk page. I would much rather discuss my unblock request with admins instead of getting this request denied and having to wait even more time. I also believe that the administrators reviewing this request would rather have a discussion instead of maintaining a block. According to the three strikes policy, I am also site banned by the English Wikipedia community due to abuse on five sock puppet accounts after the original block on my first account. Since I am banned from the community, this unblock request may need to be forwarded to the Administrators' noticeboard to allow for community vote and consensus regarding this request for unblock. In the future, if my request for unblock is successful, I would begin contributing positively to the English Wikipedia using my returned editing privileges. I will likely repeat some of the good work I have made to the Simple English Wikipedia to help contribute to this Wikipedia. I will be able to improve articles and interact with other editors in a constructive manner. This is a great improvement from when I used to vandalize this encyclopedia. I have truly put a lot of effort into working towards getting unblocked. These efforts are being made so that I can eventually return to contributing towards improving Wikipedia. I would like to end this request by giving gratitude to the people who have reviewed this large essay. You spending the time to read this will likely help me with reaching my goal of eventually being unblocked. Thank you, 84Swagahh (😂🤣84Swagahh🤣😂 14:54, 7 May 2024 (UTC))[reply]

Decline reason:

Procedural decline. It's been five months, not six. To help you out, I'll add six months to the current date and tell you the next time you can try is 2024-11-07. That's November 7th. You'll also need to avoid the above WP:WALLOFTEXT which, frankly, nobody's going to bother reading. That's approximately 1830 words. You should be aiming for closer to one tenth of that. Response from 84Swagahh

@Yamla: I made a mistake when thinking of how long six months were from the block on this account. My mistake was me thinking it has already been six months because the month has changed six times from December to May. I hope that I will be able to apply for unblock soon instead of having the six month timer reset from this mistake. I have been working on the Simple English Wikipedia during this period with the goal of improving that project and working towards my goal of being unblocked here. I truly tried my best to work towards reaching my goal of becoming unblocked. I wrote the request in advance so that I would be able to submit it today since I thought six months had passed. In the future, I can summarize the main points to avoid an excessive unblock request. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 84Swagahh (talkcontribs)

Frankly, your inability to do simple math is a serious concern. Nor is it true that the month has changed six times. It's changed five. December -> January. January -> February. February -> March. March -> April. April -> May. That's five changes. Please refrain from any further edits here until 2024-11-07. If you'd like, you can make one further comment here asking your talk page access be revoked for six months, as this would make it far harder for you to accidentally edit this page before your six months are up. --Yamla (talk) 16:15, 7 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hey, go ahead and remove talk page access. Since December 7th, 2023, I incorrectly thought that six months would be today (I thought that December=1, January=2, February=3, March=4, April=5, May=6) Now I know that this was incorrect, but it is just what I thought at the time and there is no way to undo this. I started writing my long unblock request on March 27, 2024 so that I would have time to write before submitting it today. You can see the process I took to write the request on my talk page history. If needed, I am fine with my request for unblock being forwarded to the Administrator's noticeboard to allow for the Wikipedia Community to reach a consensus about this situation. If I had known that only 5 months had passed, I would have waited until June 7th, 2024 to request my unblock. However, I already posted this request and it has already been denied. The standard offer has something interesting under the variations section. It states "The six-month threshold can be adjustable under special circumstances" (Variations). I am not sure if this could apply to me but I have made great contributions to the Simple English Wikipedia. You can review my account and contributions here. I had tried my best to get unblocked and it sucks that I will have to wait longer because of a mistake I made.
Thank you, 😂🤣84Swagahh🤣😂 17:39, 7 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I have protected your talk page for six months. If there's a compelling need to regain talk page access prior to that six months, please use WP:UTRS. Any admin is free to reinstate talk page access by unprotecting this page without consulting me. --Yamla (talk) 17:42, 7 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
