Welcome[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia!

Someone using this IP address, 77.45.54.46, removed content from the page List of countries by GDP (PPP) without giving an explanation. Please always provide an informative edit summary when removing content from pages. If 77.45.54.46 is a shared IP address and you did not do this, you may wish to consider getting a username to avoid confusion with other editors and further irrelevant notices.

Here are a few good links for newcomers:

Here are some other hints and tips:

  • I recommend that you get a username. You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but creating an account is quick, free and non-intrusive, requires no personal information, and there are many benefits of having a username. (If you edit without a username, your IP address is used to identify you instead.)
  • When using talk pages, please sign your name at the end of your messages by typing four tildes (~~~~). This will automatically produce your username (or IP address) and the date.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or type {{helpme}} here on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome! Param Mudgal talk? 12:10, 25 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Some advice[edit]

Just wanted to thank you again for your keen eye at List of countries by Human Development Index. That kind of attention to detail is something Wikipedia needs more of. I see that you had some bad interactions where your good faith changes to statistics were reverted. I'm sorry for that and just wanted to give you some advice to avoid it in the future. Most changes to statistics done without explanation by new users are not constructive and it can be difficult to correct it making recent changes patrollers hesitant to keep them. Giving an edit summary with the source of your data can go a long way to avoid it happening in the future. You may also want to consider creating an account since that makes it easier to follow articles or discussions and allow you to directly edit protected articles such as List of countries by Human Development Index. If you ever have any questions feel free to ask and I'll try my best to help! ‑‑Trialpears (talk) 22:27, 24 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

December 2020[edit]

Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I noticed that you made a change to an article, 2020s in science and technology, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Materialscientist (talk) 16:04, 10 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
