Sarah Geronimo (born 1988) is a Filipino singer and actress. Her career began after winning the talent show Star for a Night in 2003; she signed with Viva Records and released her debut studio album Popstar: A Dream Come True. Her single "Tala" from The Great Unknown sparked a trend between 2019 and 2020. Outside of music, she played the female lead roles in the films A Very Special Love (2008) and its sequels You Changed My Life (2009) and It Takes a Man and a Woman (2013), winning the Box Office Entertainment Awards for Box Office Queen for the films and the Golden Screen Award for Best Actress for the lattermost. She expanded her career into reality television as a presenter of Search for a Star in a Million (2005) and Little Big Star (2005–2007), and as a coach on The Voice of the Philippines (2013–2015) and its spin-off series The Voice Kids (2014–2015, 2019) and The Voice Teens (2017, 2020).
