General: Article is new enough and long enough
Policy: Article is sourced, neutral, and free of copyright problems
Hook: Hook has been verified by provided inline citation
QPQ: Done.

Overall: Looks good to me. Quite a fucked-up part of history! I do think that a better hook is possible, although none spring to mind immediately. jp×g 08:15, 5 October 2021 (UTC)

Just noting that I've also nominated Werner Teske, final person to be executed here, for DYK. Could be combined, could run separately. —Kusma (talk) 13:17, 6 October 2021 (UTC)
