About two topics we might cover on the next Signpost issue[edit]

Hello! I don't know if you already saw this, but I've left a short note over at the Newsroom's talk page about two stories we were suggested to cover: namely, the death of Yuri Lushchai, and the situation with the Joint Statement on Palestine.

I just wanted to know what you think about them, since I feel insecure about how we should cover them (especially in the second case)...

Anyway, see you soon! Oltrepier (talk) 14:43, 4 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

RFA2024 update: phase I concluded, phase II begins[edit]

Hi there! Phase I of the Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/2024 review has concluded, with several impactful changes gaining community consensus and proceeding to various stages of implementation. Some proposals will be implemented in full outright; others will be discussed at phase II before being implemented; and still others will proceed on a trial basis before being brought to phase II. The following proposals have gained consensus:

See the project page for a full list of proposals and their outcomes. A huge thank-you to everyone who has participated so far :) looking forward to seeing lots of hard work become a reality in phase II. theleekycauldron (talk), via MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 08:09, 5 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Undid some buggy archiving[edit]

Hi JPxG, I just undid some weird (probably buggy) archiving of this talkpage by ClueBot. See my latest edits to this page and to /Archive36. I'm not sure what caused this, but it's probably some misparsing due to the commented-out section you have up there. Maybe you could store that code in a subpage instead? --rchard2scout (talk) 11:30, 6 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Did I use the SignpostTagger correctly?[edit]

Hello. I came across WP:Wikipedia Signpost/Technical/Index validation and saw that there were a bunch of items missing metadata. So I installed the SignpostTagger script I found on your profile, and used it to make this edit to add the tag "fromtheeditor" to this article written by you in the signpost. I don't want to be disruptive, so I'm asking if I did anything wrong here.

Thanks. --KingErikII (Talk page) 19:00, 6 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
