Plagiarism on the Page + Unsupported Source[edit]

I just found that this page is mostly just a direct copy/paste taken from the Web Archie for the Lubao Institute's website from 2009. You can find this website here. This appears to have been tagged shortly after the article's founding, but the tag was removed without any clear rationale given by user 'Lansfey,' who incidentally created the page.

Additionally, the sole source given in the article - one that claims basketball player Arwind Santos attended the Lubao Institute - does not support the given claim. Even in an earlier instance of Web Archive, it does not support the given claim. In fact, Santos does not appear to be even mentioned within it. See for yourself here.

I was additionally not able to locate any sources for the rest of the alumni, and with that I would also like to bring awareness to the fact that this article has no up-to-date sources (the website is now defunct) backing up any of its claims, and has maintained this status for nearly a decade.

I will now be tagging this for plagiarism, and would invite Wikipedians more seasoned than me to take a look and evaluate the merits of this article. I will also be deleting the sole source given since it is irrelevant. WhatIsAPoggers (talk) 02:47, 7 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
