IPA pronunciation of school name[edit]

Ranaming[edit]

Per the cited sources, El Molino High School is being closed and consolidated with the former Analy High School, on the Analy High School campus. The district has chosen West County High School as the working name for the consolidated school pending a final rebranding. So, that's what the school is now being called. When and if the district chooses a different name we'll update the article and source the final name. Please don't edit war over this. Meters (talk) 04:27, 12 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Illegal change of Analy High School wiki page[edit]

The Superintendent of West Sonoma County Unified School District, Toni Beal, and the Board have arbitrarily changed and protected the Analy High School Wikipedia page. It IS NOT named West County High, it is Analy High. There is a lawsuit in progress to stop these monsters from erasing history. We need to plead with Wikipedia to revert the edits and protect the page. If they choose to open a NEW school by the name of West County then they need to create a NEW page for said school. No, the superintendent and the board have had nothing to do with editing or protecting this page. As the sources show, the schools are being consolidated on the Analy campus, "West County High School" is the working name pending a final renaming, and the working name is already in use. Semi-protected edit request on 2 August 2021[edit]

We would like to have the notable alumni section changed to Notable Alumni (Analy High School) and add a Notable Alumni (West County High) this will clarify what school these people graduated .  Not done for now: See WP:COI and WP:PAID. We will not remove the protection so that conflict of interest editors can make changes. I see no problem with differentiating between alumni of the two original schools (and future alumni of the renamed school), but given what has already happened, moving that content from El Molino High School to this article is going to be contentious. Let's at least wait until the 2021-22 school year when the merged school is in session (and the former El Molino High School is definitely closed). Meters (talk) 23:11, 2 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Analy High School[edit]

Please provide reliable sources. Did the rebranding never happen? Did the school get rebranded and later reverted to the original name? I see from https://www.pressdemocrat.com/article/news/west-county-high-schools-only-graduating-class-walks-the-stage-in-sebastop/ that the school was renamed for 2020–2021 but is reverting to the original name for 2021–2022.
