Claude Bernard Tene Nengou (born 26 September 1972) is a lawyer with a current practicing certificate and researcher currently based in England and Wales. With a diverse range of expertises, he specialises in Civil Litigation, Employment law, regulatory, commercial law and also advises clients both from common law and civil law jurisdictions. Dr Tene currently serves as partner for the law firm T&A Solicitors.
Early life and education[edit]
Tene was born in Bafoussam, Cameroon. He pursued his educational journey in the field of law and political science at the University of Douala, Cameroon. After completing his undergraduate studies, Dr. Tene further expanded his expertise by obtaining a Master's degree in International Banking and Insurance law from the London Metropolitan University. Determined to delve deeper into the complexities of public laws and policy, he pursued and successfully completed a PhD doctorate at the University of Nottingham in England, focusing specifically on the implementation of these laws and policies..[1].

In June 2023, Tene established T&A Solicitors [2]a general practice firm with particular expertise in regulatory matters, general commercial and civil litigation, where he currently serves as a partner and leads the civil litigation team[3]
Throughout his career, Tene has consistently garnered positive feedback from his clients, who commend him for his client-centric approach, professionalism, and the exceptional quality of his advice[4]
Beyond his legal practice, Tene also functions as a legal and policy consultant, with a particular emphasis on the implementation of sustainable building policies. His expertise in this realm has been further demonstrated through the publication of multiple scientific articles, which explore the intricate aspects of building sustainability policies.[5] . Furthermore, Dr. Tene has actively contributed to the field by taking part in seminars aimed at discussing the sustainable design and construction of buildings[6]. Furthermore, he has published a book that elucidates the implementation of building regulations and policies, with a particular focus on countries within the sub-Saharan region[1]
