Request reason:

Seeing that my honest and truthful edits made to update information to help people understand the current situation, in terms of the Worcester, Bromyard and Leominster Railway in its current state (specifically Rowden Mill) have been removed without fact checking, I would have to argue that on further inspection it is clear that, on viewing my citation, I did in fact make a very useful contribution, as I did last year on the Paul Caddis article. Moreover, I think this makes it clear that my silly, childish bout of misinforming editing that was short-lived was in fact very poor behaviour, especially as someone who desires to make useful contributions where necessary (e.g. an article is outdated). Therefore, I apologise for my frankly vile actions against a passionate and informing community, but I believe it is somewhat clear I will go on, knowing the consequences of my actions and make genuine contributions as I have done prior, knowing that if I ever went back again I would face severer consequences which no one wants. Overall, I think that an unblock after what has been a clear consequence to my disruptive actions, for which I can only apologise, would mean that there would be one more editor to help update articles, especially those local to myself such as the railway as mentioned. I hope whomever reads this seriously considers and I will be thankful for a response.

Decline reason:

Blatant vandalism, such as this. Yamla (talk) 19:21, 14 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Whilst vandalism is evident, my request clearly presented that I knew my actions were very poor, and that I continue to put forward my argument that I have made clearly useful contributions that I would like to continue with and look past this poor mistake of vandalism. Ultimately, I am clearly persisting this to reinstate a much needed update to information involving the Worcester, Bromyard and Leominster Railway, which in itself shows that I am desiring to make helpful updating edits and that we should look past my actions which I have and do apologise for, especially knowing the consequences of my actions, please reconsider with this knowledge.

Decline reason:

Your vandalism destroyed the trust and good faith you had with the community; those are very hard to get back. You seem to be saying that your good edits outweigh your vandalism, but your vandalism included false edit summaries to attempt to conceal the vandalism. I think coming back is possible for you, but you need to better discuss why we should trust that you will not go off the rails again. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 12:16, 15 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
