Casting[edit]

I read that someone else had been cast as the lead before Karen Gillen: "Taylor-Joy had that role on lock-down for several months, so when I read that the project was moving forward with another talented young actress, I knew Taylor-Joy had dropped out"[1] Is that a good enough source to add it to the production section? -- 109.76.129.242 (talk) 00:46, 7 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The suggestion that she was connected to the project "for months" seems more substantial than the usual casting rumors and so I'd expected other sources might have mentioned it too, but so far I've only found a vague mention that Taylor-Joy might have had an unspecified role in the film[2] but nothing else about her being up for the lead role. -- 109.76.192.128 (talk) 20:26, 8 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
