What is an NVL?

"Delusional Science NVL" -- Whats a NVL? Anonymous 88.217.27.108 (talk) 20:34, 14 October 2008 (UTC)

I'm pretty sure NVL stands for "novel". They have altered this for C;HN though, opting to call it a "妄想科学 ADV". I guess it's probably better to say "Delusional Scienve Novel" instead of "Delusional Science NVL". Thoughts? --Remy Suen (talk) 20:46, 14 October 2008 (UTC)
I diasgree, if the official term the company uses is the roman letters NVL, that's probably what they intend the romanization to be too. 147.126.46.147 (talk) 20:42, 19 November 2008 (UTC)
It doesn't really matter right now anyways with NVL linking to novel. I believe though it'd be fine to change it to novel. -- クラウド668 21:56, 19 November 2008 (UTC)

B-Class review

Per the request at my talk page, here are some comments for improvement of the article:

  • B2: The reception section should be expanded.
  • B4: The article uses technical terms without explanation. (e.g. port, "Delusional Science NVL", "Cardiac cycle", etc.)

Here are some more general comments as well:

  • The lead should touch on all of the major points in the article, though some (e.g. reception) are currently omitted:
  • The fair use template should be applied to Chaos Head game cover.jpg
  • "Some notable Internet websites"—not cited. (I presume this could be cited to a portion of the game?)
  • The settings and themes section does not seem to be written in an encyclopaedic manner, and should be revised. (Unfortunately I cannot be more specific.)
  • The characters section should be rewritten from an out-of-universe perspective. (See WP:WAF)
  • Dates should not be linked. (28 September, amongst others.)

Blood Tune novelized

It appears that Blood Tune has been novelized. Does this belong in this article? If yes, how should we incorporate it? --Remy Suen (talk) 14:36, 9 November 2008 (UTC)

It definitely does, I'd say just add it under the releated media section for now, and just summarize it generally. -- クラウド668 21:48, 9 November 2008 (UTC)

I saw this about a week ago when I was looking into Clannad's newest novelization when I went here, and I also discovered another Chaos;Head book, this time a short story anthology compilation.-- 05:22, 15 November 2008 (UTC)

Chaos;HEAd

A lot of other anime and manga pages add the Japanese stylization, like Naruto and Bleach. ムーカオーズルール 03:09, 17 November 2008 (UTC)moocowsrule

Plot Section

Editor for the translation project here. This entire section is badly organized, being out of chronological and logical order. I advise revision of this entire section. Also, I think that the anime series changes things a bit in the later episodes/chapters; you'll have to double check with the original and point out any differences. For example, the series seems to like using presumably non-canon red triggers. (Then again, that judgement may be classified as fanon. I'm not that well versed in these things.) --TinFoil (talk) 04:13, 3 January 2009 (UTC)

"New Gen" vs "New Gene"?

Saw both being used here...which if any is correct or the preferred? -AnimeKid (talk) 08:50, 1 March 2009 (UTC)

The "complete" 'New Generation' is probably the best in my opinion. --Remy Suen (talk) 13:03, 1 March 2009 (UTC)

Bad organisation

There are concepts that are mentioned without explanation first. Cast of characters should be moved below "Terminology", or at least "Terminology" section should be mentioned earlier to refer currently unknown concepts.

Formatting Issue

I'm still new to wiki, Have added the xbox game cover, but it sort of messed up the info box - Anyone can help to rectify? Banej (talk) 10:18, 30 August 2009 (UTC)

Other visual novel articles uses the same infobox wherein "every" single media is embedded into one uniform infobox. Consider Clannad or Air. If you feel otherwise, please take it up on the VN project's talk page. --Remy Suen (talk) 18:29, 30 August 2009 (UTC)

English?

This was put in the 'available in English' category, but it doesn't seem to be?

The translation is an unofficial fan release. I have removed the 'cat'. --Remy Suen (talk) 11:38, 15 October 2009 (UTC)

Chaos; Head (with space)

http://www.whirlpool.co.jp/magustale/character/img/chara11_on.gif Like, what? I've never seen it spelled with a space like that. Can you give a source for this unusual way of writing the name? I'm reverting it for now. VDZ (talk) 18:32, 1 February 2010 (UTC)

I asked on the person's talk page. If this is how Wikipedia is then I'm not going to argue. I don't know if there are any exceptions to the rule. In any case, it would be more sane if it was Chaos ; Head (kind of like Myself ; Yourself) because Chaos; Head just looks ridiculous but "looking ridiculous" is not a valid argument against Wikipedia policies. ;) --Remy Suen (talk) 22:17, 1 February 2010 (UTC)
It is already normalized as it is right now. The Japanese usually spell it CHAOS;HEAD in all caps. The ; is part of its name, much like how the dash in Con-Version (random example) is part of its name. Sure, you may pronounce it as 'Chaos Head' and 'Conversion', but the official spelling is still Chaos;Head and Con-Version. VDZ (talk) 23:52, 2 February 2010 (UTC)
Based on what the person moved the page said, there seems to be two different policies here. One is normalizing capitalization (which this article respects) and the other is following punctuation rules/conventions. I have not yet found a MOS page about this though. --Remy Suen (talk) 00:58, 3 February 2010 (UTC)

PSP port

There's another port of Chaos;Head Noah for PSP, see the site for details (it will ask you for PSP ver or 360 ver). (70.71.121.7 (talk) 09:13, 9 July 2010 (UTC))

iOS and Android

I added the release dates for those. They were found at the Japanese page for this article. Derpian (talk) 01:21, 21 August 2012 (UTC)

PS3 Port in November 22, 2012 coming

Added that with citation. Derpian (talk) 01:42, 21 August 2012 (UTC)
