Previous deletion[edit]

The previous deletion was based on incomplete information regarding the historical evidence and on the assumption that the article was constructed as an attack page on Alpha Phi Alpha. As an impartial administrator, I have assisted FrozenApe in his efforts to create a sourced and neutral article on this historical event. This page is not eligible for speedy deletion based on the previous AfD. —Doug Bell talk 19:32, 20 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I sent it to AfD procedurally, so that should provide some protection from speedy deletion. ~ trialsanderrors 09:20, 27 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Easier references[edit]

I made an alphabetic list of the references at the bottom. I suggest shortening the citations in the footnotes to the essential. These absurdly long Google Books links make it almost impossible to edit the article text. There really is no need to link to the exact page. Once the book is located, pages or individual phrases can be searched for. Pharamond 20:45, 27 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Great Job! Sometimes if a user can't locate supporting evidence they'll delete haphazardly. I thought the long links would help prevent it. Nice looking references! FrozenApe 14:15, 28 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Alpha Kappa "Mu"?[edit]

See https://books.google.com/books?id=5g8TAAAAIAAJ&pg=PA134#v=onepage&q&f=false (Gamma Phi Beta Crescent from 1904). Seems to be the same group, just called Alpha Kappa Mu rather than Alpha Kappa Nu, Same group? Text also at https://archive.org/stream/crescentgammaph03betagoog/crescentgammaph03betagoog_djvu.txt .
