Scope of category[edit]
Is this supposed to be for guitarists who play African jazz (whatever that might mean), or for jazz guitarists from Africa? In other words, is it {African jazz} guitarists, or African {jazz guitarists}? If the latter is the case, then this is the only category within Category:Jazz guitarists by nationality that refers to a continent. We could place Category:South African jazz guitarists within it, but it would be the only one placed in a continent supercategory (all the other countries are simply placed under "Category:Jazz guitarists by nationality". - Now that I've looked more closely I think it should be moved to Category:African jazz (genre) guitarists. Similar categories are placed under Category:African jazz (genre) musicians but not under Category:Jazz guitarists by nationality. In either case it is an outlier: it is not disambiguated by "(genre)", and it is the only "jazz guitarists by continent" continent category. -- Gyrofrog (talk) 17:15, 22 October 2012 (UTC)
