Last resort[edit]

The title should be "using AfD for cleanup" or similar - to recognise that the proper purpose of AfD is to get rid of articles that you genuinely think should not be here. You should also stress that AfD for cleanup is a last resort after other attempts have failed. Eg., author unresponsive, {{refimprove}}, etc. tags in place for weeks with nothing happening or, worse, refimprove removed without anything having been done. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 10:33, 23 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
