Wikipedia talk:Meetup/NYC/Hacknic 2022
I was thinking a good low-tech, outdoor-friendly approach to hacking might be a focus on Wikipedia:Wikipedia games and Meta:Events/games of both online and offline varieties, maybe in the format of a game jam. Particularly interesting would be to develop games to be played at the hybrid Wikimania, locally at various locations and online globally, in August.--Pharos (talk) 17:47, 2 May 2022 (UTC)

- The timing will be from 12-5pm, though I plan to arrive at 10am. I'll be there early at 10th Avenue Lawn to scout out the location, and I'll also probably take a conference call during this time. Pharos (talk) 14:46, 19 May 2022 (UTC)

MediaWiki hacking, bug review[edit]
If people are interested in hacking on MediaWiki, whether it's fixing a bug or adding a new feature, I'm happy to help guide people in the right direction and/or pair program, etc. I'll try to bring a flash drive with reasonably up-to-date git clones of MediaWiki and extensions to save time/bandwidth.
