We can get Jefferson Market Library for the Saturdays of July 30/August 13/August 20. What do you folks think?--Pharos (talk) 00:53, 12 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

No conference? Peter.C • talk • contribs 04:04, 12 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
We won't be hosting one this year. Blurpeace 20:14, 12 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
July 30 & August 20 are good for me. August 13 I'm out for another event, similar to why July 23 doesn't work.Mitch32(Can someone turn on the damn air conditioning?) 21:15, 12 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I'd vote for August 13th or 20th, unlikely that I could make it July 30... NickDupree (talk) 16:27, 14 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
My vote's for August 13th. July 30th is way too close. Blurpeace 04:06, 25 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
OK, we're go for August 20 at 1PM at the Jefferson Market Library.--Pharos (talk) 21:32, 27 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Speakers and roundtable discussions wanted[edit]

Add your own talk or discussion to the agenda!--Pharos (talk) 15:43, 12 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Meetup is tomorrow (Saturday)[edit]

Be there and be awesome, bring a discussion topic and a friend!--Pharos (talk) 15:10, 19 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Though lacking a friend I have noticed in the blue Toolbox a "QRWP code" entry. This gives a checkerboard QR code that a smartphone can use to find the article. Should someone talk to museum people about putting up these codes on placards or stickers? Or otherwise display them near landmarks, tourist attractions or other targets of attention or curiosity? Indeed, maybe we can borrow a leaf from the Wikipedia:GLAM/Derby/QR code experiment!--Pharos (talk) 21:23, 19 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
