Ideas? add them here![edit]

  • Add your ideas for virtual talks, sessions, edit-a-thons, etc that you would like to see here. Example ideas:
    • talks on... Wikipedia and education, Wikipedia and covid, what Wikipedia has meant to you, ideas for the future
    • editathons on... any topic under the sun!
    • trainings on... How to edit Wikipedia, Wikidata, or how to use your favorite cool tool. Or: how to teach wikipedia, host a virtual edit-a-thon, or any other outreach topic!
    • Great Gatsby virtual reception/party, in honor of its entering the public domain?
    • New England related Women's Ice Hockey pages need a lot of work, if anyone is interested in that as an edit-a-thon topic. I am on the Women's Ice Hockey Task Force and we could use some help. Maybe Winter Sports in New England could be a topic?
    • The History of African Americans in Boston needs updating for current events - another possible edit-a-thon topic

Lightning talks / New England round robin signup[edit]

This looks like a great event![edit]

I hope to attend, but will watch the panel discussion on YouTube later if I can't.

I added links to this on the Wikipedia Day and One World Birthday pages. Our event (the latter) is at 7pm Eastern, so please feel free to join us if you can't get enough :)

Are the Lightning Talks happening? If so, I'd try to do something on News On Wiki or related topics. -Pete Forsyth (talk) 22:37, 14 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
