Offensive Metaphor[edit]

I find the concept interesting, however the metaphor is offensive and goes against Wikipedia:Civility. Pig is an offensive adjective in many cultures (see Cultural references to pigs). I have seen this essay used to characterize articles made by newcomers, which does not incentivate them to go past the learning curve and start contributing in a productive way. I propose that this article be either renamed or simply removed. Lgtrapp (talk) 00:29, 3 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This isn't an article, it's an essay, per WP:ESSAY, with a rather obvious strain of satire. Speaks for itself. JNW (talk) 17:19, 16 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
