...to the Wikiproject Motorcycling British Motorcycles Special Interest Group, which aims to ensure that the coverage of the history of British motorcycling on Wikipedia is as accurate and comprehensive as possible.

To join the group please add yourself to the list:
- Thruxton - on my 5th Triumph (a Rocket III) and have been sorting out all the British bike articles for what feels like an eternity - with many still to go...
- Omnedon - rides a Speed Triple whenever possible, and owns several British bikes from the 50s, 60s and early 70s
Special Categories[edit]
The special Category Category:Motorcycles of the United Kingdom has been created to bring together all British motorcycle articles on Wikipedia, so it is the first place to look to find the gaps or to expand existing articles. The other special category is Category:British motorcycles listed by marque which aims to contain the definitive lists of models for each manufacturer.
British motorcycle images[edit]
We have been building uo a comprehensive collection of British motorcycle images at the WikiMedia Commons, organised by make of bike. A lot of the best images were transferred from the Dutch Wikipedia so have limited information. Please have a look and see if you can identify any which have incomplete information - and add any copyright free images that you have.
British motorcycle badges[edit]
The collection of copyright free logos and badges is important as they are used to illustrate the British motorcycle manufacturer articles.
British motorcycle pioneers[edit]
We have been building up the list of the people behind the history of British motorcycling at Category:British motorcycle pioneers. Its no easy as for many of them the information is hard to find - but that makes it all the more worthwhile. Each of the articles should have the Template:Infobox Person completed as fully as possible
British motorcycle manufacturers[edit]
The list of British motorcycle manufacturers is held in the template Template:British motorcycle manufacturers. The aim is to cover envery known producer of British motorcycles, however small! Each article should have the template Template:Infobox Company completed in as much detail as possible - with any units converted, which can be quite complicated until you get uswed to it so its worth referring to Template:Convert.
