Articles that need work[edit]

  • Theoria - Almost completely abstruse and unreadable.
  • Gregory Palamas - Such a pivotal saint of the Byzantine tradition deserves more.
  • Trisagion - This article has just been entirely overhauled, and the text of the previously-separate Agios O Theos article merged into it. Please read through the new text and make improvements.
  • Proskomedia - Article exists and is linked from portal; but could do with some further details on the meaning of the service and so forth.
  • Kontakion - This article needs a lot of work, especially on the different types of kontakia, liturgical usage, etc.
  • Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew I of ConstantinopleThis article needs a lot of work
  • Most of the articles about athonite monasteries (linked to from the Template:Monasteries of Mount Athos). A few of the articles about the monasteries already contain some info but most are stubs.
  • Emmanuel Lemelson - Article was in very good shape, well written, well referenced and capturing his religious leadership but since has been edited destructively. This version of January 6 was quite good: [1]. The subject is prominent patriarchal priest and one of most prominent Orthodox clerics (major and regular media coverage and appearances of his religious leadership work). Since last edit referenced previously, there has been something of an attack on the page, designed to remove notable content and references and insert inaccurate and trivial content in its place. Extensive page discussion here: [2]. Orthodox2014 (talk) 19:43, 17 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
