Need Assistance for Creation of page for Directorate General of Vigilance (Central Board of Indirect Taxes & Customs). Zorawar385 (talk) 04:08, 24 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@zorawar385: this? read the decline notice. ltbdl (talk) 05:44, 24 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Apart from the fact that Draft:Directorate General of Vigilance (CBIC) is, I suspect, a copyright violation, please note that Wikipedia has little interest in what the subject of an article says or wants to say about themselves, or what their associates say about them. Wikipedia is almost entirely interested in what people who have no connection with the subject, and who have not been prompted or fed information on behalf of the subject, have chosen to publish about the subject in reliable sources. If enough material is cited from independent sources to establish notability, a limited amount of uncontroversial factual information may be added from non-independent sources. 06:12, 24 March 2024 review of submission by Samchristie05[edit]

I need more sources of Review and Background please thanks Samchristie05 (talk) 06:12, 24 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The draft has been rejected, meaning that it will not be considered further. We can't find sources for you- that's up to you as the writer interested in the topic. You are going about this backwards; you should first have the sources in hand before you write a draft, not afterwards. 331dot (talk) 07:38, 24 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

11:40, 24 March 2024 review of submission by Watsii[edit]

Hi, is it possible given how many times I try to do my best for my draft, to look for the right references for this artist and put them on, or where they are needed! Watsii (talk) 11:40, 24 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Watsii: I have rejected this draft, therefore there is no point in developing it further. You have the other draft still in play, develop that instead. (No idea why you felt the need to create two, but that's another question.)
What is your relationship with this subject? -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 11:47, 24 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
my relationship with this subject? nothing or at least no one. he is a Comorian artist who is nationally known and I wanted to create an article for him. It would be really cool if you helped me with this please Watsii (talk) 14:09, 24 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
If you were starting to learn engineering, would you make your first project to build a car from scratch? If you took up a musical instrument, would you arrange a public recital as the first thing you did? No, you would practise on less demanding projects while you learnt the craft.
I would very strongly advise you that you will save yourself a great deal of frustration and disappointment if you forget about creating a new article for several months, while you gradually learn about how Wikipedia works (and most particularly about Verifiability, reliable sources, and Neutral point of view) by making improvements to some of our six million existing articles..
