00:36, 14 February 2024 review of submission by 131.239.143.170[edit]

Hi, please let me know what is needed to have a page for Antoneta Alamat Kusijanovic approved? Thank you! 131.239.143.170 (talk) 00:36, 14 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. That draft has been deleted as a copyright violation of this web page. Do not ever add copyrighted content like this to Wikipedia. We neutrally summarize in our own words. We do not copy. Cullen328 (talk) 07:44, 14 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello there, I have published a page of Will Coleman who is an actor based in Detriot and provided his IMDB profile refrence but it was declined. Is IMDB is not a reliable source? or is there any other reason? 39.41.205.42 (talk) 03:47, 14 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Just so you know, IMDB isn't a reliable source via Wikipedia:Imdb. ''Flux55'' (talk) 04:16, 14 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

This is the first edit since 2016 from this IP address and I see nothing called "POPPIN' BIRDS", deleted or not, in either draft space or article space. Be precise because every character counts, and if you have an account, log into it to comment further. Cullen328 (talk) 07:39, 14 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

10:40, 14 February 2024 review of submission by 51.52.207.138[edit]

I was wondering the reasons for why the page is being declined? 51.52.207.138 (talk) 10:40, 14 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

This draft has been declined several times, but most recently it was because of lack of evidence of notability, and insufficient referencing. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 10:43, 14 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

10:55, 14 February 2024 review of submission by Govne[edit]

Hi, I have created this page for two reasons: 1. This person, Dr Satish Kumar has asked me to correct some information regarding the award he has received. During that process I realized that the before I update the information the page should exist also. 2. Also since Dr Satish kumar has asked me to create a page for him and use the reference from a official website which can be seen in my reference. So kindly confirm how can I do that if is not allowed to create the page itself ?

For more details: Also here is the page which contains list and the name Saitsh kumar but it is mapped to the wrong or some other person named Satish Kumar. The actual person who received the award is this person https://www.padmaawards.gov.in/Document/pdf/CitationsForTickets/2016/201661.pdf and it can be verified from the government website : https://www.padmaawards.gov.in/padmaawards/padmaawardees Govne (talk) 10:51, 14 February 2024 (UTC

Plese help to make the page and do this correction. Govne (talk) 10:55, 14 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Govne Courtesy link: Draft:Dr Satish Kumar since that's what you are actually discussing. First you must formally declare your conflict of interest(click for instructions).
Wikipedia does not have "pages for" topics, it has articles about topics. They are not for the benefit of the subject in any way; there may be benefits, but those are on the side and not our primary goal- which is to summarize what independent reliable sources with significant coverage choose on their own to state about a topic, showing how it meets the special Wikipedia definition of notability- like a notable person. This award may make Dr. Kumar notable, but there still must be independent sources that discuss him and his life, telling what makes him notable and/or why he was given an award. If it's due to his work with India's missile systems, you need sources that discuss that work and his influence on it. Please see Your First Article. 331dot (talk) 11:05, 14 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
If you are employed by Dr. Kumar or an organization where he works, the Wikipedia Terms of Use require you to make the stricter paid editing disclosure. 331dot (talk) 11:07, 14 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Dr Satish kumar is now retired and I am not employed by him. Govne (talk) 11:18, 14 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, then you just need to declare an unpaid conflict of interest; see WP:COI for instructions. 331dot (talk) 11:23, 14 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The list here List of Padma Shri award recipients (2010–2019) links to the wrong Satish Kumar]] I can't remove the link because only admins can edit the list. Theroadislong (talk) 11:35, 14 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Can I edit the page myself and the admin can review the authenticity of the information before rejecting the changes. Govne (talk) 12:13, 14 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I have removed the link you will need to show how he passes WP:GNG and then submit your draft for review again. Theroadislong (talk) 12:35, 14 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

15:54, 14 February 2024 review of submission by 98.186.55.18[edit]

Can you please upload the 2025 NCAA Men's Final Four Logo Please 98.186.55.18 (talk) 15:54, 14 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

This page is for help with articles in draft. Uploading logos is almost never relevant to that, because 1) most logos are non-free, and may not be used in drafts, and 2) images are not relevant in reviewing drafts.
You are possibly looking for files for upload. ColinFine (talk) 18:36, 14 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

20:15, 14 February 2024 review of submission by Smcclellan19[edit]

This is NOT ABOUT ME. Also look at any lawyer page. They have articles about them used to as citations... So I don't understand why they can't be used from Craig R. McClellan... For Example: Mia Yamamoto Look at this attorney's citation. Craig McClellan is what has made this place for the better. So don't be such Hyprocrites when I am doing the same thing for him as other attorneys. Smcclellan19 (talk) 20:15, 14 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Smcclellan19 Are you a relative of Craig?
Please see other stuff exists as to why using any random article as a model or example is a poor argument; these other articles could themselves be problematic, and you would be unaware of this. The Yamamoto article is marked as problematic. Press releases and profiles do not establish notability, we need independent reliable sources with significant coverage that have chosen on their own to write about him. 331dot (talk) 20:25, 14 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Then you should have hers unpublished as well. Only fair since all the attorney pages are like that. Honestly. That is how I model his page. Yes. I am a relative. Me and other people have been trying to get a Wikipedia page for him for YEARS!!! Every time we do try to create one it gets rejected or deleted. Also, this should also be the case for celebrities as well. So you are basically just rejecting this person. BUT DON'T REJECT ANYONE ELSE. SEEMS SUPER FAIR RIGHT? Smcclellan19 (talk) 20:40, 14 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Smcclellan19 your draft was declined, not rejected. Declined means you can improve and re-submit. Please do not shout at us volunteers. Qcne (talk) 20:57, 14 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
As you are a relative, it is mandatory you make a conflict of interest declaration. Not doing so is a breach of our Terms of Service. I have left instructions on your User Talk Page. Qcne (talk) 20:58, 14 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Being paid requires mandatory declaration per TOU, but not COI. Per WP:COI: you should disclose your COI when involved with affected articles vs. The Wikimedia Foundation requires that all paid editing be disclosed. S0091 (talk) 21:50, 14 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Also see Wikipedia:ALLORNOTHING. ''Flux55'' (talk) 21:43, 14 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
If you want to use other articles as a model or example, use those classified as good articles. 331dot (talk) 20:28, 14 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

18:10, 14 February 2024 review of submission by Dmhball~enwiki[edit]

My bibliography article consisted totally of book titles and basic information, but it very largely lacked ISBN numbers, and was refused because it was "not adequately supported by reliable sources". Fair enough! My questions are: 1. Would the addition of ISBN numbers where available (the majority) be enough to cure the 'reliable sources' problem? 2. Is the inclusion of publishers in the main text satisfactory, or would it be better to put ISBN and publisher in a reference-footnote in every case? Dmhball~enwiki (talk) 18:10, 14 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Dmhball~enwiki, adding the ISBN numbers would not solve the reliable source issue or the WP:NOTCATALOG issue. We don't host complete bibliographies just because. As this is essentially a list article you need to demonstrate why this list is notable and really fill it with works that are notable on their own (have their own articles). Otherwise the current selected publications in the main article is more then enough. McMatter (talk)/(contrib) 22:39, 14 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I suppose that does make sense. We live and learn. At least I've got a pile of ISBNs to put straight into the main article, where they were also largely missing. Dmhball~enwiki (talk) 21:54, 15 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
