If I want to write about a fellow Assyrian writer, are the summaries on his books and his youtube interviews sufficient for references? His books can be found on Amazon. Please guide me through making a Wikipedia page for this person. Mona3003 (talk) 02:42, 3 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I would like to request any of you to help me review my page at "Draft:Sudan_Scam". There has been regular rejection. I have accepted and worked as per their advice of rejection. Please review my article if it is acceptable for Wikipedia or not, and advice anything you see necessary. Singhavaran (talk) 04:17, 3 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, This page was published already as an article but mistakenly deleted by author itself. The person is known director and sufficient links are there to prove itself.

See here. I am not convinced that the subject is notable. I have left some instructions on your talk page. Abelmoschus Esculentus (talkcontribs) 13:13, 3 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I think that the Wikipedia should have an entry for WPML. It is one of the most popular plugins for WordPress (the most popular CMS in the world). I've looked at dozens of different Wikipedia entries, e.g. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Balsamiq and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yoast, and I've tried to create WPML entry in accordance with those existing entries.

Can you please tell me why WPML is not notable when compared to earlier mentioned entries?

I find an article on forbes that talk about DAICO. https://www.forbes.com/sites/jedhalfon/2018/05/24/the-daico-ico-savior-or-wolf-in-sheeps-clothing/ If is impossible to talk here about new solution where we can talk about it. If you not create a page about DAICO the people never will know about that.

In this way people will continue to waste money in ICO scams.

14:12:44, 3 January 2019 review of submission by Maclang99[edit]

Hi, I would need some help concerning the submission of my first article Draft:Richard Castelli. After my last exchanges with User:Robert McClenon 4 months ago, my article is still waiting to be reviewed. As I wrote to Robert McClenon, I have no affiliation with Richard Castelli. Is there anything I can do to improve my article? Thank you for your help. Maclang99 (talk) 14:12, 3 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

14:14:17, 3 January 2019 review of draft by RuffingITOUT[edit]

Hi, I was hoping to add more info in the coming days. Given the event is scheduled for 19th Jan, 2019, I am expecting more news and coverage on the topic with the dignitaries attending it. I regret if this ended up violating the wiki guidelines, but am sure the article is of relevance to the film festival circuit.

Looks like blatant advertising. Theroadislong (talk) 17:05, 3 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I am just wanting to verify that everything is okay with my disclosure for doing this for pay. I greatly respect the open source community as I am a Web Developer for the most part and this was a one off side job I was doing for some extra cash.

Fireinjun (talk) 16:54, 3 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft is a copyright violation and the topic is not notable I'm afraid. Theroadislong (talk) 17:10, 3 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

WikiTimmy (talk) 19:13, 3 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

DO I need more sources?

WikiTimmy IMHO you actually need to wait about ten years before this could become a viable topic for an article on WP. Roger (Dodger67) (talk) 20:02, 3 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

20:30:24, 3 January 2019 review of draft by Caesarsalad26[edit]

Hello. I am closely working with Blanca Rosa Blanco as an editor to create her own Wikipedia page. Much of the information on this page is a translation from Wikipedia-like Cuban online encyclopedia called "Ecured" which works just like Wikipedia, but mostly centered on national information. I want for her to have an English page, since Ecured is in Spanish, and besides translating, I am supporting my information from direct statements of Blanca Rosa Blanco, (since I am working with her,) and also several websites that claim her long successful career as an actress here in Cuba. I know I do not have a high number of citations, because 1st I know Blanca Rosa well, and because this info is already supported in Spanish, but not in Wikipedia. It would definitely be nice to have tons of more citations, but it is my first Wikipedia article and I am going to the most critical and essential information of her. I could talk about her entire life, but I can't, so the article per se is already well compressed. Let me know how I can do to either improve it in order to publish it or that we could justify that I am close to this person and that much of the information is already stated in another language. Thank you.

Hi Caesarsalad26 Greetings to you and welcome to AfC help desk. See below
  1. Conflict of interest (COI): Since you are associate/affiliated with the subject (Blanca Rosa Blanco), that means you have a conflict of interest here and Wikipedia does discourage editor with COI edit/create associated page as the editor might not able to write the page in a neutral point of view. If you want to continue to do so, pls make sure you need to keep that in mind to write in neutral point of view and no info which are not properlly sourced could be included in the article.
  2. Disclose your COI: You need to disclosed you COI in your "user page - HERE and on the "article talk page'" HERE. A reveiwer has already sent you a message on how to disclose your COI in your user page - see here Managing a conflict of interest. If you are a paid editor then pls declare as paid editor as per instruction in your talk page.
  3. www.ecured.cu: You can NOT use this as reliable sources just as you can NOT use Wikipedia as a source since content in Wikipeia or "ecured.cu" are derived from other sources.
  4. WP:ISandWP:RS and WP:NACTOR: subject needs to pass actor notability requirements and with received significant coverage by independent, reputable reliable published sources such as major newspapers and books where by the sources talk about the subject in length and in dept and not merely passing mentioned. Sources such as home page, IMBD, any sources associate/affiliated/marketing sites, interviews, user generated sites and etc can NOT be used to demonstrate/contribute to the notability of the subject.
  5. Claimed not found: [1] I could not find "ACE Award for Best Supporting Actress by the Association of Latin Entertainment Critics in New York". Pls remove the statment on the lead and/or provide right source.
  6. External links in the body text: pls remove the external link in body text such as "Las Honradas", "Tras la Huella" and etc
Thank you. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 05:43, 4 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
