I'm looking to get an entry posted for my running club and recently submitted an article (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Awv00/sandbox). I received a response saying that it read more like an advertisement which I do understand but I based it on this running club entry (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Serpentine_Running_Club) which is very similar. Just wondering what amendments I'd need to make in order to get the article approved? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Awv00 (talkcontribs) 07:26, 29 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I have given proper reference and citation, yet editor deleted the page saying copy righted material. Why editors want to kill wikipedia?

  • Copyright violations are not permitted on Wikipedia. You need to write in your own words. — Frayæ (Talk/Spjall) 09:56, 29 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

12:31:46, 29 September 2018 review of draft by Zeno Gantner[edit]

zeno (talk) 12:31, 29 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, the article I created was moved to the draft section because of a lack of verifiable sources. I now have added some references -- is it ready to be submitted for review?

Thank you very much in advance, --zeno (talk) 12:31, 29 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Personally I would recommend adding some more references. That is a good start, overall you want enough substantial reliable sources that another editor won't be inclined to try and have it deleted. The amount written in a source is very important, adding a lot of short "person fights person" event listings will not help. Anything written by major mainstream German news outlets is relevant. — Frayæ (Talk/Spjall) 16:37, 29 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The Page I Created was 2019-20 United States Network Television Schedule But The Category for creation is not Responding. 68.103.78.155 (talk) 17:35, 29 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • There are various formatting and template problems on the page that could be causing this I suppose. If you can fix these and get the article to display correctly then it should work. The article is unlikely to be accepted unless it is correctly displaying regardless. — Frayæ (Talk/Spjall) 18:13, 29 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • I don't know what it was, but after I fixed some hidden comments the submission banner started working. You should still fix the remaining template issues and sections without content. — Frayæ (Talk/Spjall) 18:19, 29 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

18:44:16, 29 September 2018 review of draft by Harpwiki[edit]

I have just submitted my second draft when I discovered the page on creating stubs. Would my page be considered as such - I know the page on Arms Academy is labeled as a stub.

Harpwiki (talk) 18:44, 29 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Yes. Most articles with less than 500 words are stubs. You can read about exactly what stubs are at Wikipedia:Stub. — Frayæ (Talk/Spjall) 18:53, 29 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • If you need a place to store your writings not related to Wikipedia, I suggest Github or any other free web host. — Frayæ (Talk/Spjall) 21:01, 29 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

21:06:37, 29 September 2018 review of draft by JustJoia[edit]

I put up a photo that was given to me by the subject who claimed he has ownership of the photo. How can I post a photo of the subject and note the correct consent so I can avoid having it removed as a copyright violation?

thanks

JustJoia (talk) 21:06, 29 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Ask the owner of the photo to follow the instructions at WP:DONATEIMAGE. This involves sending an email to a special permissions group. — Frayæ (Talk/Spjall) 21:55, 29 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
