08:43:35, 4 November 2018 review of draft by KarenRutter[edit]

Good day, I hope you are well. I am just checking to find out if my submission (link below) is still being considered for publication, or if there is anything else I need to do? Best regards KarenRutter (talk) 08:43, 4 November 2018 (UTC) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:International_Federation_of_Workers%E2%80%99_Education_Associations_-_IFWEA[reply]

  • Huge backlog. I have accepted the draft. I also retargeted the initials at the new page as they targeted an affiliated/member org. There are many existing pages that should be wikilinked to the new article. You can do that - just use search for pages that mention the topic. Legacypac (talk) 09:06, 4 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

13:45:20, 4 November 2018 review of submission by TheWayThingsAreIsNotTheWayTheyHaveToBe[edit]

Part of the reason it was declined was Wikipedia's policy on biographies of living persons. However, the subject of this page is deceased. TheWayThingsAreIsNotTheWayTheyHaveToBe (talk) 13:45, 4 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The biographies of living persons applies to the recently deceased. Even to people deceased for some time circumstances depending. The subject died yesterday so the policy still applies. — Frayæ (Talk/Spjall) 13:57, 4 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Also, the lack of information about the subject online is the reason I am creating this article. Some of Dr Minson's work has been digitised but overall there is a lack of information about him and his work available online. • You can cite offline sources in the article. Newspapers, books, magazines etc that were published before the age of digital information are often cited without a online link. — Frayæ (Talk/Spjall) 13:59, 4 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
