I am doing a terrible job at submitting an article. I need help on my submission for ZendyHealth, its been a month and I can't get it approved. Please help.

I submitted an article for review but unfortunately it was not accepted due to SisterTwister's call for more show of notability. As the company is only 6 years old the articles are not very many, however if you advise what steps I can take or what can be done to ensure its successful creation and addition to the wikipedia encyclopedia base i'd be much appreciative. - @Mandymlall:We require references from significant coverage about the topic of the article, and independent of it, and in WP:RS please. See WP:42. Please also see WP:PRIMARY which details the limited permitted usage of primary sources and WP:SELFPUB which has clear limitations on self published sources. Providing sufficient references, ideally one per fact referred to, that meet these tough criteria is likely to make this draft a clear acceptance (0.9 probability). Lack of them or an inability to find them is likely to mean that the topic is not suitable for inclusion, certainly today.
- The shorter answer is that excellence in referencing gains acceptance. Lack of references means it is like not to be notable in our terms. Fiddle Faddle 13:01, 12 November 2015 (UTC)

Ian McHarg Award': The McHarg Award was created to honor a person who exemplifies the goals and mission of The Valleys Planning Council by his or her actions. This award honors the spirit and legacy of Ian L. McHarg, a Scottish landscape architect and a renowned writer on regional planning using natural systems. He was the founder of the department of landscape architecture at the University of Pennsylvania. His 1969 book Design with Nature pioneered the concept of ecological planning and continues to be one of the most widely celebrated books on landscape architecture and land-use planning. McHarg prepared the original Plan for the Valleys. He received the National Medal of Arts from President George Bush in 1990 and won the Japan Prize for city planning in April 2000. McHarg died in 2001. In 2010, Mr. Kamenetz’s [1] protect environmentally sensitive land and watersheds, and secure Baltimore County’s rural heritage won him the coveted Valleys Planning Council’s McHarg award.

- @Buxtonae: Hi, and thanks for inquiring at the Help Desk! First, it looks like there are two different articles at play here. The draft we've been reviewing is at Draft:Valleys Planning Council. That's the one I'd suggest working on from here onward.
- The paragraph that was copied from another source has already been removed and the page history will soon be revision-deleted so that the copyright issue is resolved. In the meantime, now is your chance to work on two other problems with the draft:
- The referencing is currently a problem, as all but one of the sources are from the organization itself, making them primary in nature and unsuitable to show the requisite organizational notability. Put simply, the draft will need a variety of reliable, independent (third-party) sources that discuss the subject in significant detail if it is to be accepted, and it currently lacks those sources.
- The draft is written in a promotional style that does not yet comply with Wikipedia's neutral point-of-view policy. Encyclopedia articles have to be written in an objectively unbiased tone that keeps some distance from the subject they're discussing. Statements referring to "the legendary 1964 ecology-based Plan for the Valleys", for example, lack such neutrality because they assign a subjective value judgment or opinion—"legendary"—to a plan. Unless a third-party source has called the plan "legendary", the draft shouldn't say that either. A similar problem crops up in the "History" section where an award is referred to as "coveted".

- @Carld307: Hello, and thanks for stopping by the Help Desk. There are two problems I see with the draft so far:
- The draft does not cite suitable sources. Wikipedia articles about companies like New Pig generally require a variety of reliable, independent sources that discuss the subject in significant detail. So far, the draft's referencing is mostly from the company's own website, which isn't sufficiently independent of the subject to demonstrate notability. Since encyclopedias rely on neutral third-party sources for their content, this draft will need that too.
- The other issue is that the draft is written somewhat promotionally. Wikipedia articles must be written in a neutral tone that indicates the facts but doesn't take positions as to the quality of a company's service or products if that hasn't been reported in the sources. Saying that New Pig carries "well-known, proven products" sounds like an advertisement for the company, for example. Such statements need to be excised from the draft or supported by sources that state exactly what you're claiming.
