04:46:27, 20 November 2014 review of draft by Mariana Thomas[edit]

I have a number of documents (mainly newspaper articles) to support my new article. Can you please give me specific directions on how I can upload (annex) those documents to get my article closer to be accepted for publishing? Many thanks Mariana

Have a look at WP:REFB, you don't need to upload any documents.Rankersbo (talk) 09:28, 20 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Wikipedia Team,

Hope this email finds you well.

I am writing to you to enquire on the status of my Wiki draft page for Lorraine Tan.

Please kindly advice is the article ok to be published?

Thank you! JosephineAtWeddingHarmony (talk) 10:20, 20 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Josephine. As it says on the draft page, this draft has been resubmitted and is currently awaiting re-review. This might take several weeks. Arthur goes shopping (talk) 12:32, 21 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I can confirm that this link - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Ghost_Station - is a new submission and relates to a musical artist and is not duplication of the current Ghost Station entries on Wikipedia.

2.102.227.234, you aren't declined for any duplication, you're declined for not showing enough evidence of the significance of the band. Have you read the guidelines suggested to you in the pink box at the top of your draft? MatthewVanitas (talk) 21:09, 20 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

14:59:21, 20 November 2014 review of submission by Grodecap[edit]

I am trying to set up just a short article about The Orchard School in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA, but I am having lots of problems. I have been told that most schools this size aren't notable, but our competitor, Sycamore School (also located in Indianapolis, Indiana) has a page. To be honest, it almost reads like an ad, in my humble opinion. Do you have any advise as to how we can get a page similar to the Sycamore School page? I really appreciate any advice/help you might be able to offer. Thank you so much!!!Grodecap (talk) 14:59, 20 November 2014 (UTC) Grodecap (talk) 14:59, 20 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

@Grodecap: This is a common misconception. For this reason you cannot point to other articles to excuse issues with your own draft. There are many substandard articles on Wikipedia. You can nominate Sycamore School for deletion, where a discussion will determine whether or not it belongs here.
As for your draft, it's been deleted (presumably at your request) so I don't have anything to provide advice on. You should realize that Wikipedia is not an advertising platform and you have stated you have a conflict of interest. For that reason, you should probably forget about writing this draft. I recommend using the reward board to request that an uninvolved editor write it for you. Of course, neither your school nor Sycamore appears to have the independent reliable sources to make a claim of notability. Chris Troutman (talk) 15:19, 20 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Just a quick correction, Grodecap's article was deleted due to copyright violations but I was moving the page at the same time it was deleted, causing me to accidentally create a blank page, which was then G7 deleted. --Ahecht (TALK
