April 22[edit]

I would love help on writing this article correctly Drklondon (talk) 08:28, 22 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

@Drklondon: Your submission has absolutely no references. References are key to any encyclopedia; Wikipedia is not a web-hosting service. I was able to find one independent website that discussed this subject, and that site isn't per se a reliable source. Without a good collection of reliable sources, we're unable to determine the subject's notability. We don't write articles about just anyone and anything, and your submission doesn't meet our specific criteria for artists. Chris Troutman (talk) 08:45, 22 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Article draft moved: This is not the place for submitting articles. I've copied this content to Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Saint John School Of Quezon City. You can continue working on it there.

Could I possibly get some assistance in getting this article accepted. I would like to know exactly what I need to do? Thanks

Hi I got the following message about an article I am trying to get published on Wikipedia (my first). Struggling to learn the correct processes here - please help:

'The page Peter Olsson already exists. Please verify that it is not a copy of this submission and that this page does not need to be moved to a different title.'

How do I verify that my article is about a different Peter Olsson?

Many thanks MarkMstephens01 (talk) 16:09, 22 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Mstephens01, that message is for the reviewer. The reviewer has to make sure that it is a different person and rename the article appropriately (to Peter Olsson (racing driver), for example). Anon126 (please ping!-talk-contribs) 18:46, 22 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I would like to create an article about All American Pharmaceutical's history.

This company started as a micro-company, literally in a small room area, and within the same generation is now a multimillion dollar corporation in Montana.

I have access to the founder of this company for interviews, and can get permission to use historical photos.

What is the next step?

Thank you. 67.5.27.112 (talk) 20:40, 22 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The most common issue is not access to people involved with the company, but whether sufficient published reliable sources uninvolved with the company exist. Read Wikipedia:VRS to get an idea of what would be required; the specific guideline for notability of companies is Wikipedia:NCORP. Newspapers and financial magazines or journals, and in this case probably pharmaceutical industry magazines, would be the most likely sources to be useful for this. If you think there is enough material to meet the requirements, you could start work at Wikipedia:Articles for creation. Also possibly relevant is Wikipedia:Conflict of interest. Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Rotating Armature Alternator

Hello Help desk, I'm brand new. Please give me a specific problem with my submission. I have been given general problems to look at so far. My article is about the heart of the nationally protected Folsom Powerhouse State Historic Park, so I think it is encyclopedic.
My work is not research, as it is just routine calculations and length measurements.

The conclusions are routine in poly-phase armature design.
I have cited the books to which I referred.
I think it is based on good pillars. Would you respond in my namespace?

Thank you, Doug. Douglas Nelson Turner (talk) 22:25, 22 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I have asked for feedback at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Electrical engineering. Arthur goes shopping (talk) 09:29, 23 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
