November 9[edit]

When I wrote my article, it came as a paragraph, but when I saved it came as one long line.RainWizard29422 (talk) 03:42, 9 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

You indented the first word of every paragraph which cause the strange formatting. Have a look at it now, have I fixed it? Rankersbo (talk) 07:52, 9 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello,

Can I request a peer review after an article has been rejected? I have majorly edited the rejected article and would like some feedback prior to resubmitting. Or is clicking the resubmit button my only option?

When I place the peer review template tag on the top of the talk page I only get the red line that reads "This template should be substituted on the article talk page."

Thank you, Lazerbeans (talk) 14:54, 9 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Updated my post with more references. They show up in the text but I may have deleted them from the end. This was an unaccepeted submission but I have found more information and it may fit your needs now.

I have added the {{reflist}} template to the References section of your draft article Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Frank A. Ready, so that the references now display. You may wish to resubmit the draft article for review by putting {{subst:submit}} at the top of it. Arthur goes shopping (talk) 10:09, 11 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Wikipedia I don't know how to ask this or fix it. There is an article on the "Gratton Massacre" wherein a trader named "Bordeau" is prominently mentioned. I am 99% sure this is the same trader that established a trading post in that general area, near Chadron, NE. It is now the Museum of the fur trade. The name is spelled differently though "Bordeaux" in case of the trading post. There is a Wikipedia article about the post, but no cross-references. The spelling of the name may be accurate in both cases as people were pretty loose in their spellings back then. I have spent some time out in that area visiting various museums etc. and that is why this was brought to my attention. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.226.57.161 (talk) 16:27, 9 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, 68.226.57.161. I've checked this out and the references in both articles. They are clearly the same person. I have now cross-referenced the articles Grattan massacre and Bordeaux Trading Post. In future, you should bring concerns like this to the talk pages of the articles concerned as you are likely to get a quicker response. This help desk is basically for editors seeking help with the draft articles they are submitting. But all's well that ends well and thank you for bringing this to our attention.
