Are We All We Are (Pink song)[edit]

Hello,

I submited the page: "Are We All We Are" and it was accepted. It was rated B-Class and it had around ten reliable sources. About a week later, it was deleted and no one told me about it on my talk page.

What happened? Is it possible I can have it back?

If you look at what happens when you visit that article, you'll see that it redirects to a different article, and the top of the page has a tiny note that says "(Redirected from Are We All We Are (Pink song))". Clicking that link leads you to this page, which looks a little weird, but notice that you can click "View history". The history for the article indicates that User:Kww replaced the contents with a redirect to that album article, with the edit summary "no charts, no covers, no awards: fails WP:NSONGS, redirecting to parent album." It would have been nice if the editor added a note to your talk page after redirecting it, but the editor wasn't required to do that.

Looking at the last version of the article before it was redirected, the article did have nine references, but they don't qualify under Wikipedia's definition of reliable sources, and they don't provide evidence for the notability of the song. Also, the article was rated at Stub-class instead of B-class. See Wikipedia:Notability (music)#Songs: "Songs that have been ranked on national or significant music charts, that have won significant awards or honors or that have been independently released as a recording by several notable artists, bands or groups are probably notable." As far as I can tell, I agree that it doesn't qualify under that criteria, but if you think that it does, you'll want to read Wikipedia:Identifying reliable sources to help you figure out which kinds of sources Wikipedia considers "reliable sources".

If you decide that you can fix the article to fit within those guidelines, you can post a note on User talk:Kww with links to the reliable sources that you'll use to fix up the article, asking for the redirect to be reverted. You can also post here if you like. You do have the option to revert the redirect yourself, but it's better to check with other editors first, since otherwise you may end up with an article that just gets redirected again right away. Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Lini Evans[edit]

Hello there,

On Nov.22 following rejection of my first effort by Skinnzy of a new Article for Creation on performer Lini Evans, I replied to helpful comments made by Huon. I wrote numerous reliable 3rd party sources on Huon's talk page and re-wrote the Article according to Huon's suggestions. I then re-submitted this Article, but haven't heard anything back, so am now wondering if I submitted incorrectly or to the wrong place or do these things just take time? Your article was not submitted for review. I have now done this. There is a backlog of over 1,000 articles at present, so it may take up to a week to be reviewed. At the moment, I'm not sure there is enough information in reliable sources to establish notability - this source is good, but it only gives a cursory mention of a few paragraphs. Have a look at Wikipedia's notability guidelines on musicians and check that your article's subject meets at least one of the criteria. --Ritchie333 ^(talk) ^(cont) 11:34, 17 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Click on the "Embedded file" link in the toolbar. You can then type in the name of picture that is uploaded onto Wikipedia or Wikimedia Commons. For uploading your own pictures, you can use Wikipedia:File Upload Wizard, but you must ensure what you are uploading has the correct copyright, otherwise it may get speedy deleted. --Ritchie333 ^(talk) ^(cont) 16:40, 17 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

ce Have you yet seen Wikipedia:Uploading images? That's a good basic guide, so let us know if you read it and still are stuck. Long story short, if there's a photo which is explicitly Public Domain or out of copyright (not just "something I found on Google"), or a photo you yourself took and thus own, it should be uploaded to WikiCommons, which is a vast repository of freely licensed images. If it's a copyrighted image, such as a logo, it can be used under WP:Fair use, and uploaded directly to Wikipedia. That said, under the strict limitations of Fair Use, a logo for London Buses overall can only be used on the London Buses article itself. But generally speaking Fair Use can be used for a company logo, irreplaceable photo of a deceased person, cover of a book, poster for a film, etc. Does this help answer your question?
