Issues to be mediated[edit]

Primary issues (added by the filing party)
  1. Is there sufficient information to warrant the creation of an article?
  2. Were any violations of WP:MOSTV and/or WP:TVUPCOMING existed?
  3. Can the failure of AussieLegend and Favre1fan93 to respond to a request for dispute resolution be seen as a combined attempt to "own" the page? Their arguments on talk pages seem to indicate an attitude of "we wrote the guideline so whatever we say is right."
Additional issues (added by other parties)
  • Additional issue 1
  • Additional issue 2

Decision of the Mediation Committee[edit]

  • Chairperson's note: The third issue by the filing party will not be considered. Participation in any form of moderated content dispute resolution at English Wikipedia, including participation at Dispute Resolution Noticeboard and here at Mediation Committee is strictly voluntary and no editor is required to participate who does not care to do so for any reason whatsoever. Moreover, the issue refers to the conduct of editors, rather than to the content of an article, and editors' conduct is outside the scope of the Mediation Committee. For the Mediation Committee, TransporterMan (TALK) 04:31, 5 June 2017 (UTC) (Chairperson)[reply]
  • Reject. Failed to satisfy prerequisite to mediation #5. I'll also note that the South Park (season 21) content dispute will become moot as the show premieres, but the underlying guideline questions will not. I recommend joining the discussion at Wikipedia talk:Manual of Style/Television. You could raise the issue at WT:TV and WP:RFC as well.
