Vyacheslav Yevgenyevich Pozgalyov (Russian: Вячеслав Евгеньевич Позгалёв, born 15 November 1946) is a Russian retired politician, who served as governor of Vologda Oblast from 1996–2011. He was born in Pyongyang, North Korea to a family of Smersh officer. He was raised in the Far East and Cherepovets, Vologda Oblast.

He became the governor in 1996. Prior to that, he was the mayor of Cherepovets. He tendered his resignation on 12 December 2011.[1] He last served as a member of the State Duma until 2016.[2]
