List of people by Erdős number[edit]
Please do not add names to List of people by Erdős number for people who do not already have Wikipedia articles. Also, re your draft at Draft:Jenő Lehel: please read WP:BLP (for the sourcing standards required of Wikipedia biographies) and WP:PROF (for criteria for an academic to be considered significant enough to have a Wikipedia article), and WP:AUTOBIOGRAPHY (for why if you are the subject you should not be writing an article about yourself). The current draft contains badly sourced or unsourced material (e.g. on amateur photography), does not indicate why the subject of the article should have an article, and suggests (through the equality of the subject's nickname with your username) that it is likely an autobiography. —David Eppstein (talk) 04:46, 19 January 2015 (UTC)
Welcome[edit]
Hello, Yency, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.
I notice that one of the first articles you created appears to be an article about yourself. This is a common mistake made by new Wikipedians—as this is an encyclopedia, we wouldn't expect to have an article about every contributor. Your user page, however, is a great place to write about yourself, making sure to stay within user page guidelines. Just click your user name at the top of the screen when you are logged in, and edit it normally.
The page you created about yourself may well be deleted from the encyclopedia. If it is deleted and you wish to retrieve its contents, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.
Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

- How to create your first article (using the Article Wizard if you wish)

- Notability Guidelines for Academics
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}}
before the question. Again, welcome! - McMatter (talk)/(contrib) 14:14, 19 January 2015 (UTC)
