re: Training finished[edit]

Good job with the assignments, both the new one and the old ones. The Anti-appeasement steles article is pretty cool! Good luck finding another interesting topic! Btw, I think your older topic, Hazing, is a very good idea, but it was deleted because it was too short and had too few sources. I'd encourage you to try to work on it again. You can ask for your old draft to be restored, the instructions on how to do so are here: Wikipedia:Requests for undeletion/G13. PS. Please see how to WP:SIGN your posts correctly for the next time you post on talk. Good luck! --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 01:07, 13 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

re: Anti-appeasement_steles[edit]

Interesting issue, but I am confused why the article on Heungseon Daewongun does not mention the name Lee Ha-eung? Without understanding this more, I am not sure what advice to offer. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 04:31, 18 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Article selection[edit]

Hazing in the Republic of Korea Armed Forces is a good choice and you can add it to our dashboard. Regarding 연고주의, if you found the term discussed in academic literature, then it is also a good topic. You are right the concept you describe is wider then nepotism, but it does sound like Cronyism. Still, Cronyism in South Korea is a missing topic, so it is a valid choice. I did notice 연고주의 is mentioned on Korean wiki at ko:네포티즘. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 04:36, 18 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Weekly 10 edits[edit]

Please make sure to make your weekly 10 edits for the Collective Intelligence class. As a reminder, if you miss your weekly edits, your score will be lowered by 1 point. But don't worry, you can easily get extra points by making extra edits for extra credit (each 10 extra edits will add another point to your score on average). --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 10:36, 28 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Please add your main topic(s) to our dashbroad[edit]

Here. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 02:51, 24 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Feedback on your project for Collective Intelligence class[edit]

I am afraid I cannot provide any feedback on Hazing in the Republic of Korea Armed Forces since you have not done any edits on it this semester. You also seem not to be doing any of our required 10 weekly edits. Please note that this is likely to affect your grade significantly.~But there are still ~3 weeks remaining in our class, and you can try to do extra credit edits to compensate. I do recommend, however, that you start ASAP. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 05:45, 4 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Good job expanding the article. The article has been improved, but still has some issues 1) please ensure that each paragraph or sentence if necessary has a clear reference (footnote/citation). 2) Each reference should clearly specify the author, date, and publisher. If it is Korean, the Korean title should be cited and also translated. 3) File:Hazing in ROKA.png - this picture will likely be deleted, as it is not freely copyrighted. If you cannot find a freely copyrighted (Creative Commons) license for a photo of hazing in Korea, instead I'd suggest adding a more easy-to-find pictures of bases where such incidents took place. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 04:44, 17 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
