Speedy deletion nomination of List of most-liked tweets[edit]

A tag has been placed on List of most-liked tweets requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/List_of_most-liked_tweets. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". March 2021[edit]

Your recent editing history at Nora Fatehi shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

RFC and talk page guidelines[edit]

Hi there, re: the discussions at Talk:Nora Fatehi, this isn't an admonishment, I'm just trying to give you some crucial information: When you participate in discussions, it is important that you adhere to our talk page guidelines. You need to sign your posts with four tildes like ~~~~ which will append your signature and time stamp. This is also important because other editors need to know who said what. Also, {{ping}}s don't work without signatures. It's also important to properly indent your comments so that they're easy to read, as some discussions can become convoluted without proper indentation. When you add references to a talk page, you don't need to use <ref></ref>, a simple [http://yourlink.com/article] will suffice. When you use the HTML ref tags, the references wind up at the bottom of the page, and can bleed over to future discussions. If you do use the ref tags, then you should add a {{reflist-talk}} to the bottom of the section, which will prevent the references from bleeding into other discussions. I have taken care of that for you.

Last thing, while I understand you have strong opinions about this topic, it's important to remain civil and especially to avoid personal attacks. Thank you, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 19:30, 6 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Cyphoidbomb: Hi Cyphoidbomb. I thank you for the crucial information you gave me. I adhere to the TPG but I'm still learning... Nobody is born knowing the TPG. So you can either find it great that more people try to participate in the noble mission of Wikipedia and try as you did to help them get onboard or you can decide like others to act as a gate-keeper, siding with some old guard and only allowing people well-versed in the Wikipedia grammar to have their say. I did not know it was necessary to use the four tildes to be recognized since it seemed to then be added automatically to my posts whether I used the tildes or not but I will remember that. I usually use the indentation, I only had an issue with making the sources visible, that's why they were not properly indented. I only used the <ref></ref> so that the articles don't take too much place, since I gave a lot of sources, but I'll keep that in mind. Thank you for your help regarding the {{reflist-talk}}, I didn't know that. You may be surprised but I actually don't have that strong opinions about this topic ; as a matter of fact, I don't care at all about it. I just saw a clear mistake on a subject that I happen to know well and I thought that I would do my small part in furthering Wikipedia's mission, by correcting that small mistake. I thought that was it, but then I saw the lies and the bad faith coming from the other user, I felt appalled by that and decided to show him that he was wrong since I am pretty sure about the matter in question. When he kept willingly misreading what I was saying and twisting the facts in order to be right, I just said what I thought, not wanting to hurt anyone, not even seeing it as a personal attack. I agree that it could have been a little bit more civil but you eventually lose your patience when you're in front of a wall who makes his opinions prevail regardless of the numerous facts you present to him. Block[edit]

Then, doubling down on "ethnocentrism" after warning, to me, clearly demonstrates that said warning did not produce the desired effect.
